Almost everyone in my family has a turkey neck or the start of one, including me ????. I was kind of hoping that getting chin lipo now would help me feel more confidence, and starve of the the turkey neck a little longer!! I trust Dr. Davoudi completely. He is really the best plastic surgeon I've had the pleasure of working with.

Thanks for sharing.  Looks like you are healing nicely.  Did your doctor tell you that chin lipo would help prevent getting a turkey neck?  Just curious.  Keep us posted on your progress!

My doctor didn't tell me chin lipo would prevent a turkey neck in the future but I have read it elsewhere. It makes since...if you are removing the fat cells that cause a turkey neck or double chin and you keep your weight pretty stable, your results are more likely to stay intact.

That makes sense.  How is your healing going?

It was super easy!! I thought it would be bad, but I just felt pain for about 5 days. I'm no longer wearing the chin strap and I feel perfectly comfortable. My skin retracted really nicely. I just have a little swelling but it's only noticeable to me. I'm really happy I went through with the procedure with THE best doctor in the ATL area...Dr. Davoudi! The man is a miracle worker!!

Awesome!  I'm going to add this comment as a review update so anyone looking at your review can easily see it.  The comments eventually get buried under new comments and lots of people who are considering the surgery or are pre-op love to hear all about the recovery.

You're looking great in no time. :) Lipo will definitely help you in the years to come to keep off the fat turkey neck, I had it done when i was 25 and a chin implant and i have no saggy jowls, wrinkles or turkey gobble gobble neck, Congrats.

You have a very beautiful face and profile... But when I saw your after pictures, I immediately noticed a difference....obviously it looks amazing. Amazing results!!!

I have a question. You said "He checks on you several times throughout the procedure". Were you awake during the procedure with a local anesthesia? The receptionist told me that Dr Davoudi only does lipo under General Anesthesia. I thought that had to be a mistake and asked again, I asked her Are you sure? Ijust want Chin Lipo and she repeated it again "all of his surgeries are done under General Anesthesia" I thought that was very odd so I cancelled my appointment.

I just had it done on Friday. Took my compression garment off today to shower & my profile looks the same. Did you notice at day 2 a difference yet? I barely see it but I know it takes time.
