2nd Follow-Up Appt
WORTH IT$7,500
I had my 2nd follow-up appointment today. It was similar to the 1st follow-up; they put scar tape on my scars from the anchor lift, and trimmed my sutures. This was my first time seeing Dr. Whiteman since my actual surgery, so I was overly excited to see him. I hugged him and I think I kissed him as well...I can't remember. Lol I absolutely love my PS. He is awesome at what he does and always makes me feel comfortable.
At my follow-up I got a syringe of Restylane for my nose bridge. This was something I only wanted Dr. Whiteman to do seeming as to how he is the best Ethnic nose doctor in the ATL, hands down. I absolutely love my nose. I got a feeling this cosmetic surgery stuff is addictive so long as you have the means to. I'm always wanting something else...
I do feel like I should have went with 600cc instead of 550cc but everyone says they are plenty big enough. Its funny because this whole time I've been saying, "I don't want them too big", and now I feel they could be a little bigger. A few more things to note about my recovery now that I'm 2 weeks post-op:
1. The incisions do burn/sting occasionally. Its nothing major or painful but it does take you by surprise.
2. My boobs do itch sometimes, but that may be because I still can't fully shower like I want to. I have to shower with my back to the shower, not face forward like normal so the tape does not get soaking wet.
3. My nipple sensitivity came back with a vengeance! I was outside on a nice cloudy day and a gust of wind blew past my breast and OMG! It was cold and my nipple got hard and that hurt a little but again nothing I couldn't bear.
I think with all of this hurt/pain its more shocking than anything because it comes from nowhere. I do believe that girls over-exaggerate the recovery of this procedure. Its not a cake walk, BUT its not painful. My lip injections are still (by far) the WORST pain I've felt out of all the cosmetic procedures I've had. The WORST!!
Check out my Pictures! I wish I had done this a long time ago.

1st Follow-Up Appt
I can't say enough about how much I love Dr. Whiteman AND his staff. They are awesome. Today I drove myself to my 1st follow-up appointment because I have been off pain meds since Day 4. I didn't want to inconvenience my loved ones so I drove myself. I had no problems at all. I was nervous about my follow-up because I am a big chicken! I thought the bandages coming off would hurt, but it didn't. The peroxide stung a little, but it was nothing to ride home and cry about at all. I got tape strips put on by Beth that I am not to get wet or remove. I've been sponge bathing since my surgery. I will see Dr. Whiteman next Thursday for a 2nd follow-up appt. I will post another update then.
They are much bigger than when I saw them day 1

How was it going back to work? I am having surgery on a Wenesday and plan to go to work the next Monday, I have a desk job.

You can type afterwards but no lifting. I worked from home this week and week so my situation is different (no driving) though I have been driving. But as long as you don't lift anything you'll be fine. Nothing like a box. Example: you can lift a plate but not a 2 liter...depending on how you feel to everyone is different. If you type and lift nothing more than a notebook you'll be fine. No carrying laptops.

Sorry; typing on my phone. I worked from home this week and will work from home next week. I drive to run errands but they are short drives. If you MUST go then go, but be careful. I think you'll feel good after the first 3 days but don't over do it.
