So I went to my preop and its has me kind of excited. I paid my remaining balance, spoke with Dr. Davoudi a second time and did my lab work. Although I am slightly nervous, they made it seem as if it would be a piece of cake. Based on the reviews I've read I don't think it will be. I received detailed instructions for surgery so im off to purchase spanks, boppy pillow, beach chair to cut hole in, fill prescriptions, water, Gatorade, lots of fruit and veggies, stool softner and the list goes on. I guess i'll begin counting down! Will update you all as soon as I can!

Cool I have come down with a cold. trying to kick it by Monday. You wouldn't possibly be interested in switching days with me if need be would you? I'm not sure but I sure don't wanna have to reschedule and wait months. :-(

I wouldn't mind switching. Message me on Monday and let me know if your cold gets better. In the meantime, I'll see if my caregiver will be available that weekend just in case we decide to switch.

Dr Davoudi is my surgeon. I had bl & tt in April. He suggested getting a beach chair. I didn't want to spend a lot of $ on one so got a cheap one. Husband put duct tape around holes etc. I even bought matching color tape. Because of tt I wasn't able to get up from the chair without lots of discomfort & help. Plus the tape didn't hold up & material started to tear. Maybe it will work ok if you're only having bl. He does a good job. I wish you all the best!

he lipo your back and flanks? Have u lost any volume? And did he use tumescent lipo?

Yes. My back and flanks were lipoed. I did not have much back fat but I do notice a difference. I also have curves now. I'm very small so it's not very dramatic but I am satisfied. I haven't noticed any loss in volume but I think it may be too early to tell. Most of my swelling has gone down and I have just as much volume I had 4 days ago. I'm hoping this doesn't change very much bc I am pleased with my results just as they are right now. I will start measuring weekly to see if I'm losing any.

How long did it take you to get an appt? Wondering if he is super busy. And did he use tumescent lipo

I was scheduled a month out so I would say he isn't very busy compared to the more popular plastic surgeons who are scheduled 3 months to a full year out.

@tawana4372 I want tumescent. Smartlipo kills the cells and are not good for BBL

That's what I was told, my doc is using tumescent for my 11/20 surgery.

Oh yeah. I tried not to dwell on anything negative & just focused in following the pre op instructions. .protein drinks & getting things ready at home. I shampooed my couch & recliner knowing I'd be spending lots of recovery time there. It's not as scary as you imagine. The anxiety medicine helps with nervousness & the staff at the hospital were wonderful! You'll be in good hands. :)

Three More Days!!!!

So I'm three days out and I've decided to post a few more before pictures. I think I've done all of the research I can possibly do so I'm preparing myself mentally at this point. I'm getting excited about my new body but most of all I'm looking forward to being confident about my overall appearance. I've always covered the areas I'm unhappy with and I hardly ever go shopping bc I don't feel as if I look good in the majority of the things I try on. I'm looking forward to being able to actually buy outfits I like versus buying clothes that will cover my fat tummy.
