43 Year Old, Mom of 2, 133lb, Got my Body Back Thanks to Dr Curves Duluth, GA

Hi NBAchick thank you. I started off with 133. Dr wanted me to gain about 10 more pounds but only made it to 138 in the space of two month. I am back down to 134 now. I am 5'4". He put 500 cc in each butt cheek and 100 cc for each hip. I didn't want to go too big. I told him I want no more than a 42" hip and no less than a 41" hip. I measured at 44" after surgery and I am now a 42" with little swelling and I suspect I should go down just a little more because my butt is still a little firm but just started giggling this morning. He lipo abdomen, flanks and lower back.

@ NBAchick sorry correction on the weight I told you previously but I started off at 137 pounds and only gains about 3-4 pounds pounds before surgery. I'm back to my regular weight.

Hi selflove777 thank you. You will be in good hands. Even if you don't have a lot of fat he will some how find it. Your results will look amazing. Just make sure you are well prepped before and after. Are you staying at a hotel? The excitement is real so be ready for pain and disconfirm along with the joy of looking at the amazing new you. Yes, I am staying at a hotel near the office. My sister is accompanying me to ATL and will be my caregiver during my recovery. I should have pics posted by the end of next week.

Good luck doll I will be following your journey and praying for a speedy recovery. Please make sure you get your professional massage. I am so bad with names but the lady that did mine in the office is amazing and she is such a sweet heart.

Thank you for the prayers and suggestion. I do plan to get the massage and my patient coordinator also suggested my sister comes to learn the technique so she can give them to me as well.

Cool. If you haven't gotten one already, really think about getting a wahl massager it helps big time. I got mine from Walmart for 29 bucks. It has about seven pieces to it including cooling and heating. It's small and can fit in any carry on luggage. I use the heat quiet often to help with confort.

Get Benadryl for the itching it helped me to rest also. Make sure to get cough drops because you might feel like you have a sore throats after. Neosporin and lots of gauze and band-aid. I had lidocaine cream that was proscribed to me previously and I used that on areas that was itchy and a little painful. Please get lotion that has a lot of moisture. I used cocoa butter and 100% shea butter and 100% vitamin e oil. Depending on how much you gonna drain get adult diaper. Arnicare gel helped me big time with the bruising. Lanacane first aid spray 2 in 1 helps with pain and kills germs. They do have a Walmart about 10 minutes away without traffic if you forget anything. If I can think of anything else I post before tomorrow.

OMG! Adult diapers. You are so helpful. I will be sure to pick up these items as well. I want to make sure I am prepared for any and everything and even though my sister is the best, I would like my recovery to be as light on her as possible.

Anytime. My sister stayed with me at an airbnb location but luckily for me I had two friends lined up in Duluth to help out also. One helped with breakfast and the other with lunch and dinner. I did not have much of an appetite so I ate Panera bread Caesar salad for lunch almost every day. One is located just a few steps away from the hotel just in case. Things to snack on in the hotel. Peanut butter, pineapple, pineapple juice, coconut water any brand is fine. Really have to stay hydrated.

Hi slimgoodie2428 Before surgery I told the Dr that I wanted my butt to be no bigger than a 42" and no smaller than a 41". After surgery I measured at a 45". As of yesterday I am at a 41and a 1/2" and it's been like that for about 4 days. My butt got softer with some firmness still left so I might or might not be loosing about another 1/2". I hope not because I live the size that I am now. You will be happy with him. He seems to know what you want just from wish pics alone. Good luck on your surgery and I can't want to see your pics. Where are you staying? I stated at an airbnb location with my sister who helped me out big time.

Staying here I'm from here. Went to the wellness sanctuary for lymphatic massages. Tiana is a lyphadema specialist and is great. I'm not too happy with my results just yet, still looks too small as well as my hips

No not at all. I can tolerate it very well. It's one of those annoying 3 - 4 out of 10 type of pain that you just can't wait to get rid of. It's nothing that relaxation and a Tylenol can't handle.
