39 Y/o Getting Ready for my "Fab at 40" BBL Procedure

STILL NO CHANGES

Sorry, but nothing new to report. I have started this week wearing a waist trainer during the day, and my garment at night, so that I have something on at all times. I still have no changes since 2 days post op. I don't think this is swelling at all. I am about 7 week post op, and most of all the swelling should be gone by now. My stomach is smaller than before the surgery, but not a huge difference. My butt does look better, but the main purpose of having this done was for the lipo. I only did the fat transfer to the butt because there was only a small charge for it. This was my biggest FEAR. Paying all of this money, and not getting the results that I want. I am not going to search for another doctor, or try to come up with additional money to get more lipo because I really feel that it could have all been done the first time. Don't get me wrong, I think Dr. Davoudi is a great doctor, but I feel that he may be more so for tummy tucks v/s just lipo. I am not sure if he is aggressive enough when it comes to just lipo. As far as Tummy Tucks, he has amazing results, but not everyone really needs or wants a tuck. So far, based on my current results, if I only paid half the price, I would be ok, but for the price I paid, my body should be ready to swing on a pole naked if I wanted to. I am going to try and loose another 10 pounds to help out, but I really didn't want to loose anymore weight, because I like my current weight of 138 because it gives me curves. If I loose another 10 pounds just to try to get rid of this belly fat, I think I may loose my hips, and butt which will defeat the purpose of getting the BBL done. Ugggggg All I wanted was the fat removed from the stomach..I will give my final review and rating the end of next month, which will be post of 3 months for me.

Hi there! Thank you for posting an update on Dr. Davoudi. I’m scheduled for a consult with him next week. Did he have a price special? It seems like you got an excellent deal lol. Have you noticed any improvements since your last post?

Hi

Everything was included in his prices for the liposuction for the entire abd area, love handles, and bra roll. His price was about $900 more than a couple of other place that I called to. I would really be ok. with the price had my results left my waist line 6 inches smaller than what I started with. I have not seen any additional improvements. I have been working out every day, and still wearing my garment. I think this is it for me as far as my final results unless some miracle happens in the next 4 weeks. I go in at the end of next month for my 3 month mark, and will have my before and after pictures, so that I can be able to post the results. I decided not to post any pics until my 3 month mark to be fair. I can say no matter what my results are, I am still glad I picked him for safety reasons. Not only is he a certified general surgeon, he is also a plastic surgeon. His surgeries are also done in the hospital which most doctors don't do. I felt safe with him. Safety was actually more important to me than even if I don't get the 30 inch waist :). Good Luck with your consult.

1 month in still no real results

Hello All
So, I have had 2 messages since I was released at my 3rd week post op to start having messages. I will be having 2 a week. They suggested 10, but I think I will only do 6. I have been doing at home messages in between, and this has also been helping. I have lost lots of volume in the butt. It's not flat, it's just small. I am o.k with it being small because I have a small 5'3 frame, but if I had to go without sitting for 4 weeks and lying on my back, I need some curves for this butt to stay.....I have followed every instruction provided. I took 3 weeks off so that I would not have to sit. The 4th week, I was allowed to work from home (working on my stomach was super uncomfortable, but I made it happen) . Up until my message last week, I have been confined to my house for 3 weeks on my stomach in a tight body contraption LOL....My current weight is 139. I have lost 4 pounds and 2 inches of the waist, but this stomach is still here!!!!!! I have purchased every piece of equipment/garment that was recommended, and informed to get.....I have followed all directions, but right now don't see any major changes. You honestly can't tell that I had anything done at all. I know Dr. D is the bomb with Tummy Tucks, and he makes sure you have minimal to no scars, but now that I look back, I haven't really seen any reviews of just lipo. I am hoping this is all just apart of the recovery process, and in another month I will wake up to some magical results.

First Message and still not sure about results

sitnop39
O.k. So, I had my first message 3 days ago. I was officially 3 week post op. I had to wait until the MD cleared me for them. The message therapist was a little upset because she stated she would have liked to have seen me at least after 1 week post op if not immediately after. She said I was really swollen and lots of inflammation. The message hurt. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It should get better after each session. She recommended 10. I"m not sure if I will do all 10. She was very good with the messages. She did a manual, and used the machine. I still do not see any real changes. I have looked at other before and after and most people have significant changes the first day post op. It really looks like I haven't had surgery at all. I am trying not to get depressed or upset just yet, but this is it for me. I will not be able to have any corrective surgery, or go back for a round 2. I really hope I made the right decision with my MD. I am on week 4 post op. I have 2 more months before I am at my 3 month mark. I will give it to then because I have seen the swell stories on here, so I will wait to see.
