WORTH IT$8,900
Since my teens, I have had large thighs that overlapped. Even when I lost weight, my thighs still had large puffy areas in the front. I'll post pics to show the puffiness. I've had 2 other procedures, tummy tuck and breast reduction since 2008. All of my procedures have gone really well with a rapid healing time. The thigh lift has been difficult since it slows me down but well worth it. I cried on day2 because the results are amazing.

The nausea has been the most annoying for me. I'm ready to get up and out, but my body isn't ready yet. I'm sleeping and continuing my pain meds, but keep walking every hour. I slept through the entire night last night, but I don't think it was a good idea, because I was extremely sore this morning. I'll post another update after my post op appointment on Thursday. Here are some post op pictures.

I really want a thigh lift but am so scared of the recovery period. Please keep us posted and lots of pics!! Good luck!!!

I was really scared of this procedure. I was worried about scars and healing. Then I read about others having issues with the wound opening. My surgery was Wed, 4/15, and I'm feeling pretty good. I have been extremely careful moving around. I'm on blood thinners (injections) as I live out of state from my doctor. It was an 8 hour drive 2 days after my surgery. I have also continued to ice my areas daily and take my medication daily. I walk at least every hour, even during the night to avoid from getting stiff. I can get up and down on my own as well. I'll keep you posted!

Glad to hear u r doing well. Take care.x

I had to weigh the pros and cons for having the surgery. The scars were my worst fear, but when compared to daily life of walking with the friction between my legs, it was time. The overlapping of skin caused me to walk slower and feel like an old woman trying to walk. Bathing suits were out of the question. I will proudly wear a bathing suit with my scar. I think it will be more noticeable to ME than anyone else.

You look great. Thanks for sharing. I'm considering getting mine done because since I was 10 y/o I have had loose flabby overlapping thighs and I've lost weight and still they are the same. Thanks again.

Thanks for the encouragement. I've had that same loose skin since childhood too. I hate that I waited so long to have the procedure. It's well worth the pain.

Thanks for sharing your story. Hope you feel better. How bad is the pain ? I'm considering having this procedure done but I am afraid. ;-)

The pain is bearable but it's the tightness of the legs that bothers you. My legs feel so tight that I'm walking like a penguin:-)

Some bruising and thighs are still swollen/tight which limit my movement.

Thanks for posting your pics. Has the pain subsided?
April 21, 2015
Yes the pain has subsided. I haven't taken any pain meds in 24 hours. I did take the nausea medicine as I still get dizzy if I move around too much.

April 26, 2015
The dizziness has subsided and I'm off all medications. I'm walking slowly but I can still get around pretty good. Once the swelling and bruising goes down I will be able to walk much better.

Thanks for your story and photos. I had TT 4 months ago and want thigh lift next. I've been a bit worried about the scar. I'm 64 so no bikini worries just anxious about the appearance of the long scar. Take care & keep posting photos if you don't mind.

What about the scars though? It seems as if it's not worth it because of the scar.
April 25, 2015
I waited for so long because of the scars. I couldn't imagine having such an ugly scar. But everytime I tried on new clothes or had my pants altered, it was embarrasing . As I sit here, with my 1st pair of jeggings on, I know that I made the right decision for me. I have my scar cream to help lighten the scar over time. My fiance loves me and is very happy with the results even with the scar now. Do what is right for you and what will make you happy. I'm also planning to get a tattoo...another 1st for me too:-) And remember that everyone heals differently, so consult with a doctor and keep talking to those of us that are living with the scars. You won't hear any complaints from me.
