I had been wanting BA surgery or Lypo to give my body better symmetry for many years. Although, I've have a slender frame my whole life I've never been happy because of the lack of symmetry between my breast and hips. I spoke with my husband and got his approval for BA or Lypo and we decided on BA. I had my BA surgery on Monday 1/15/18, took pain meds until 7pm on Monday and haven't needed any since. Pain has been minimal and has come from PO swelling. My swelling ballooned on Day one PO. Now on Day 2 PO I'm just relaxing. So far, I'm happy. I'll post before and after pics.

The first two weeks we're rough!!!

oceanoneal1
Had 500cc HP Mentor BA on 1/15/18 and as the days progressed so did the discomfort. I rested the first week and went back to work exactly one week to the day of my surgery and immediately wanted to rip the new boobs out!!! My nerves were twitching and the pressure was extremely unbearable. Needless to say I had to take another week off work. Got a new prescription, rested, had increased water weight retention, gained 16lbs, and became extremely irritable (all side effects of the meds). Went back to work two days ago and this time around it's been much better. ????

Your experience sounds do similar to mine. I immediately wanted the rip the implants out because the pain was so unbearable #!!! the first 7 days was torture but thank goodness it gets better! How are you doing now?

Irony is that I'm 6 weeks out and still have a lot of discomfort. I'm wearing a bra strap now because the swelling has my left breast higher than the right. It's working out well with the bra strap and balancing them out. My breast are still not soft like normal breasts and I've got some weird scaring that just appeared on the right breast. I've also got burns from this tape I used on the gauze that I placed under my breast to protect the incision site. So overall, it's been overrated for me! Hopefully, I'll have a different opinion down the road. How are you progressing?

Oh no:( I’m sorry you’ve had a rough recovery. How are you feeling now?

Still really rough. I'm making extremely slow yet steady progress. Not sure why my body is not adjusting sooner to the process. I would definitely rethink any other surgeries going forward. I just hope in the end I will fair well. I'm really skeptical at this point.

I’m so sorry it’s been such a long recovery for you. I hope things get back to normal for you soon. Have you talked to your PS about your slow recovery? If so what did he say?

Thank you so much! Yes, he continues to remind me that I'm making progress and that he doesn't see any red flags as to why I'm slow to recover. I will be reaching out to him tomorrow because I have this weird half moon bruise that just appeared on my left breast today. Thanks so much for your concern! I truly appreciate it!
