5 weeks post-op

The result as shown in the pic, I'm really satisfied with the tummy tuck results; however, the chest needs improvements by hitting the gym (As my doctor explained to me before the surgery, since we agreed to avoid the scars n the chest).

This week (I mean the fifth week after surgery), I really felt comfortable and flexible in sleeping and it almost appears to me that I'm in my regular energy levels as I did before the surgery; I will have medical appointment with the doctor this coming Tuesday and I will update you.

25 years old man who lost over 130 lbs, Male Tummy...

25 years old man who lost over 130 lbs, Male Tummy Tuck with Lipo + Gyno on 3 Feb 2016

In my teen years, I hadn’t taken care about health and fitness (I don't blame myself or anyone in my life, this happened and no body could rewrite the story but only me who can fix the problem now) so I guess my weight was increasing exponentially over the years. Then, When I joined the university at age of 21, I decided to look acceptable, I measured my weight for the first time in my life and it was 290 lbs. I wasn’t shocked because I already I see a huge body every morning in the mirror.

So, Over 3 years with stable dieting and cardio, I lost almost 130 lbs (really the last 20 lbs I needed almost one year to lose them). Then, I reached my goal weight 160 lbs, my height is 6 feets. Then, my weight was fluctuated over that last around that weight 160 lbs. The bad news I ended up with a body I haven’t shown it to anyone in the last years and wearing compression shirt when I meet people. To make it short, I was totally fake and that was really fine. ( At leas I lost the weight). So, Needed some money and could save it over these years.

One month ago, I put pictures of my body on RealSelf to seek advice from amazing doctors here and now I have updated stuff.

I already had my surgery on February 3, Tummy tuck with Lipo + Gyno

Condition at the day of the surgery:

Age 25
Weight 160 lbs
Height 6’ feet
BF%=17
BMI= 21.5

What is planned for the operation:

Full Tummy Tuck with Lipo (No Muscle Repair).
Gyno. (Chest Reduction) without Lipo.

My surgery began at 12 PM, The doctor came and marked my body. Then I had general anthestia and I didn’t feel myself, I thought it was just a second and the nurse telling me “ wake up! you already had your surgery!!” I told her “R U KIDDING ME?” It was easier than 1+1 cuz u already in deep sleep and feel nothing. They moved me to my room and I stayed all the night in the hospital without being allowed to walk for the first night.

In the morning next day, the most difficult part in the whole story, the first time to walk after surgery, I started walking bending and I felt so tired and dizzy ( I thought this is the last moment in my life, I’m gonna to die) Then, the nurse helped me to sit and drinks tons of water. After minutes, I felt OK. Later on the same day, I managed to walk (binded). Left hospital and had 3 days post-ops check with the doctor. I measured my weight 5 days post-ops and I noticed it increased by 5 lbs, which what I was expecting, no moving, swelling and a lot of liquids I got in the surgery.

Now six days post-ops:

I noticed more swelling today more than the previous days.
Tomorrow is my second post-op check with the doctor.

Will Update you with pics of post-ops later. Till now, what I have achieved by weight loss and going under major operation and left with a recovery period and scar, is just a part of my main goal that I’m working for. So the pics (Pre surgery pics) that shows my body pre-surgery above, I’m not proud of it and not satisfied; however, it is part of the destination and all I need is just more time to have my dream body. =D
