2 months and doing great

I'm doing great. My incision is flat in the morning and most of the day. Only a little puffy in the middle at the end of the day. I'm the only one that notices. I do have a couple little indentations on my flank from lipo that only I notice. They don't bother me and with time will probably improve some. I only wear a compression garment when I work and when I work out just for some extra support. I still can't lay on my stomach comfortably and many yoga poses are impossible since the front of my stomach has no ability to stretch. So no cobra or high lunges. I'm not pushing it and figure it will slowly stretch when it is ready. I'd rather have less stretch ability that loose skin so I'm happy but it is something to know can happen if you are a die hard yogi. I started crossfit and funny enough find that easier on my body than yoga. The skin over my hip bones still occasionally has a zing of discomfort. I think since I'm pretty thin if I stretch the skin taught over the bone the incision is a little uncomfortable against the boney prominence. It is getting better though. I have worn a bikini comfortably this summer which is awesome. I love my stomach and can't wait to see how I can develop muscle definition now that I'm back in the gym. I do modified ab exercises and some things I just don't do like full sit ups. I'm slowly working my way back up with my abs. It is getting better and I can tell when to stop for a workup. I also haven't had the terrible abdominal muscle cramping that I used to get occasionally before my tummy tuck when I worked abs. So I think although they are still healing and weaker that in the end I will be much stronger than before surgery. The plan is to gain muscle and then get a BL/BA next year. Can't wait for that but in the mean time this is still the happiest I have ever been with my body, including prekids.

Yes you look great. That's amazing. I'm about 10 weeks post and most swelling is minimal now. My tummy is not flat though. Would you say yours is ? If so, when did you notice ? I really thought mine would look toned and flat by now by itself ( I'm slim anyway but had big rectis diastasis separation )

I also had a large separation plus lots of extra skin. My doctor made me very tight. I couldn't quite stand straight until a month and even then I was hunched at the end of the day. I feel the extra tightness really has paid off now since my belly is completely flat. If I flex my abs and pull in my belly it is concave even. I was pretty flat from the get go minus the incision swelling and puffiness. That was significantly improved at 1 month then 2 months even better. Now at 3 month I only am puffy in the center incision area after a lot of working out or a busy 12hr shift. I wear a binder only when lifting heavy and have been doing crossfit the last month. I should probably take 3 month pics when I get a chance.

6 weeks already

I'm off all restrictions now. I wear my binder for comfort still most of the day. I still get a little hunched at the end of the day. Scar is looking not too bad, using biocorneum on it. No more spitting of staples or sutures. I have started some exercise again. Going to buy a bikini today for the first time in 8yrs. I have also booked my breast lift and augmentation for next year.
