Tummy Tuck and Lipo 3 month
It has been three months since my tummy tuck and flank lipo procedure and I could not be happier with the results. I am a Mother in my early 50’s. I had gained weight with Covid and started working out but was feeling very discouraged with my progress. I also had a C section so had that Fupa and I went to three other doctors prior to meeting Dr. Claytor. I knew the day I left his office I was going to book my appointment. He takes the time during the consult to review the procedure , safety precautions, expectations and to answer my questions. He even spoke on the phone with my husband to answer his questions. Fast forward and now it is three months later and it has changed my life. I am more confident and very happy. Extremely Happy ! The attached picture is me sitting down at my 3 month check-up.
I decided to post a picture of the before and after of me sitting. When standing you can stretch and suck in but you can’t hide anything when sitting. I know people who travel to Dominican Republic, Miami and out of state for these results when there is an extremely qualified and safe doctor in PA. I also want to say the hospital and care far exceeded my expectations.
My journey. The first 3 days were rough probably up until day 5. Pain was manageable but You will definitely need help the first 3 days. It was not until day 10 that I was able to stand up straight and sleep in my bed. I slept in a recliner the entire time. I got up often and walked. I spoke with the Doctor a few times before my check up and am always impressed. The only concern I would have is that my compression garment was so tight it was cutting and bruising me above my incision. I called and spoke to the nurse assistant and she told me to keep wearing it and I wish I would have spoken with the Doctor (who is always available) as this caused me a considerable amount of pain and bruising. I searched on this site and someone had a similar issue and suggested abdominal pads and that worked. I did reduce my sodium intake the first two weeks I was very focused on this and I continue to drink a lot of water. My swelling went down a little over two months and now I just have the lower abdomen numbness. I started lymphatic massages at 6 weeks (3 sessions) and walking on the treadmill and bike at 8 weeks. I would not hesitate to recommend this Doctor and in fact my girlfriend cancelled her trip to Miami and is going to him next month.
Hands down the best plastic surgeon in the area.
Did I mention NO drains !! If you are considering a procedure I highly recommend Dr. Claytor.
