Dr. Stoeckel is an absolute genius

WORTH IT$11,480
After 8 mo months post op and I'm amazed by the genius that is Dr. Stoeckel! He told me in my first visit "I may not be able to get you into a size 2, but I'll see how much I can get you down to." Truthful words have never been spoken like he has. I will never regret this decision I made and my trainer says that my core is so much stronger than it used to be. My balance issues are completely gone, as well as, back pain, hip pain and knee pain. I can wear my high heeled boots again and I think it's because I've corrected my posture due to all my weight not being in the front. I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Those that are having doubts or wondering if you should have it - yes you should and you should do it for yourself...not anyone else but you.

Hey girl! You look awesome! Love that bikini! You have transformed so much since your surgery, I know you have to be over the moon! It is awesome that it also helped you tremendously with balance and other pain. Dr. Stoeckel is indeed a genius. I just posted my 5-6 week picture, but I cannot wait to be far out like you to really see my final result. Right now I am still swelling and tender and unable to workout. Thanks for posting an update!
By the way, when would you say that you could fully see the results from your lipo? I know I am still swelling but I expected to have more contour at this point. I am scared this is my final result.
I really don't think I've fully seen the complete "extent" of the lipo yet. I really think it takes up to a year. I still have some hard spots on the right hip and that will slowly even out like the other side did. I honestly believe it takes 12-16 months to see the full results. It totally depends on the person but I still swell especially after workouts that are intense or training sessions. You look awesome btw already and I'd just give myself some grace. Your 6 weeks out and when I look at my 6 weeks I'm amazed by the difference to now.

Almost 7 months

Okay, so all the pain, swelling and feeling blah was totally worth it...I mean that. I can run like 3 miles and not have back pain or knee pain. I can do squats and get back up without putting my hand to the floor. I can see my and feel my core when working out. It's really amazing and I told my mother the other day that I don't think I've ever seen the beginnings of definition where my abdominals are!! We both cracked up. Was it worth all that and the money? Yes, yes and yes. There's a couple places that could have used more intense lipo but I might just do the exercise thing and see what happens.

Almost at six months

I'm back at the gym, running and walking - It's amazing!! To be able to run and not have back pain as much as I did before is absolutely amazing to me. Here's the thing...this is a surgery that insurance should pay for, if only for the benefits to your health.
I have had some issues and I don't know if they're related but in the last couple months I developed kidney stones, UTI and now Interstitial Cystitis. It doesn't feel good but I'm still ecstatic I had it because wearing clothes is easier, exercising is easier and whether we want to admit it or not - people view you differently when you have a flatter stomach. Sad, but true. At the gym they don't stare as much and I've been going to the gym for almost 9 years. To me, this is still a surgery I would have had.

You look great and so happy!!! I am less than a month out now and definetely terrified, but your optimism is so encouraging!
You'll do great but remember to give yourself some grace during the first month. Everyone heals differently and every person's body is different.
Absolutely! I have taken 4 weeks off of work. I keep praying I have everything that I will need. Did you get any additional compression garmets aside from what he gives you?
No ma'am. I didn't really need it. I think the greatest thing to get is the birdseed which I used pretty consistently for about 3 weeks. I will say this...do all your shopping ahead of time, have all your medications programmed into a pill taker app so that it tells you when to take it. Also, if you have an automatic recliner - use it!! That was my favorite chair for almost 2 months. They have one at Sam's club for $354 and it's leather. We've had ours for years but it's definitely an expenditure that I would have gladly spent had I not had one.
Ok great to know! Thanks! I also messaged your inbox.
Looking good and happy!! I can't wait until i can move like that. Haha almost there :)
BIRDSEED?
