Wow, your nose looks spectacular! That is some amazing work from Dr. Linkov.
My nose currently looks similar to your before photos. I have consulted with a few surgeons and most of them told me that I'll need rib cartilage to 'rebuild' one side of my nose that has collapsed slightly, which I'm not overly enthusiastic about.
Did you need to do this? I'd really appreciate your response.

Thanks so much! x x x
Hi I’m really interested in getting a revision… quick question, in your case was a rob or ear cartilage graft needed? I just wanted to get an idea price wise because in my case I will be needing one…. Thank u!

ORIGINAL POST

Dr. Linkov Changed my Life - Revision Rhinoplasty

My experience with Dr. Linkov and his staff was amazing from beginning to end, including the results. I did get my first nose job 15 years ago when i was 17. Nose was very large and had a huge bump. As time went on my nose lost support and started to get very crooked. I knew i had to get a revision surgery. Three years ago I did go to a famous plastic surgeon on the upper east side and he said he couldn't help me because my nose was so twisted and he didn't know if the bottom part was an implant or my own cartilage. This year I revisited the idea of getting a revision surgery. I did my research and picked 4 surgeons based on credentials, experience and reviews. I interviewed with 3. I had terrible experiences with the other doctors. Did not feel like they care about me at all. However, once I had my meeting with Dr. Linkov I just knew he was the one. He took over 45 mins of his time to go over detail about my expectations, my nose and what he could offer me and how he would go about it. He has impeccable educational and career credentials. He was very kind and patient. I did hesitate going with Dr. Linkov because he is relatively young and the other surgeons had over 20 to 30 years of experience. I AM SO GLAD i did not let that change my mind. After reading the amazing reviews that Dr. Linkov's patients write for him I decided to trust my instinct. From the beginning his staff was extremely kind and accommodating. Dr. Linkov called me the night before my surgery to go over what to expect the next day and his plan of approach. I am SO GLAD he did because I was extremely scared and nervous. HIs call really helped me feel better. During the day of the surgery, Dr. Linkov, the anesthesiologist and nurse were amazing. Very kind and compassionate. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. The surgery took almost 5 years. Dr. Linkov literally reconstructed my nose from top to bottom. Mind you the Dr. I interviewed before with the 30 years of experience told me he was going to take about 2 hours to do my revision and that he did 2 or 3 cases per day. I was not happy about that. However, Dr. Linkov only did my surgery that day and was available on the phone the whole day. He even texted me later that night to check on me. The swelling was NOTHING to what i had experience during my first surgery. During my first surgery my face was dark purple and my face was so swollen that my eyes were shut closed. With Dr. Linkov i barely get any swelling and no bruising at all. I healed really really well. Two weeks after my surgery I did get a sinus headache (which is very common for me) and I sent Dr. Linkov an email the night before. He called me the next morning to check on me and had a plan of approach if I didn't feel better. It has been four weeks since my surgery and my life has changed. My nose is beautiful and I feel so much happier and more confident. I am not scared to take pictures anymore. I really wish more people would know about Dr. Linkov's extraordinary abilities to deal with reconstructive surgeries, specially with revision Rhinoplasties. I will be forever thankful for changing my life for the better.

I was wondering what was the dent by nostril near soft triangle area and what was it from. I have a similar situation and for the life of me cannot find out what went wrong . When did you start to notice the dent ? Thank you so much your new nose looks amazing !!!
Thank you! Im so happy with the result. And it looks amazing on pictures which was my biggest concern. My nose looked horrible on pictures before the revision. I knew something was off after my cast was removed the first time. My nose did not look like the same nose from different sides but it progressively got worse. I would say 5-7 years after my first nose job it got really bad. But it was bad from the beginning.
Dr. Linkov think it was because the first dr took too much cartilage out and my nose did not have the appropriate support.
You nose looks beautiful!!
curious to know who the doctor was with 30 years of experience that was only going to take 2 hours and did multiple surgeries a day?
Your nose looks perfect! So happy for you! The first doctor did create some mess. Just wondering- did you have trouble breathing too?
