This was a great experience. I was very nervous but am so glad I did it. I can see fine lines, but only if I really try to.

Your lids look great! I had mine done about 3 months ago. I am happy with the results though still waiting for some things to resolve. Did the bumps you mention early on go away? I have some bumpiness on one eye. My doctor says that will smooth out.

Did you end up with any scars? Do you know anyone that has had lower face lift with Dr. Freed?

Your eyes are really looking good already. When I had my bleph upper and lower a year ago it took 6 months before they started to look good. You have been through the hardest part of it all. I found that every week or so I would see an improvement in the way my eyes were looking.. Your eyes look so nice this early on. Best wishes ~ Carol

Thank you Caroljoe. It is a scary thing to let someone cut your face! I'm grateful that my appearance hasn't changed. That was my worst fear. The hooded lids are gone and I can wear mascara and see my lashes again. I'm happy to hear that I can look forward to continued improvement.

I know, it is nice to be able to put on eye makeup and try different things with the makeup . You can actually wear eye makeup and have pretty eyes again. I am loving it. People tell me I look 10-20 years younger. Now I just have to get filler put in my under eyes because now that all the swelling is gone my under eyes look hollow. That I am disappointed about. But I'm trying to make the best of it.

@j9chris24, your upper lids look great. I had mine done about 6 weeks ago. Hopefully mine will be just as good. So far so good but still healing. @Caroljoe, I've been wanting to also have my lower lids done too. Sorry you are not happy with yours at this point. Sounds like there was fat removed rather than repositioned or added? With most of the consults I have had, they indicated they would reposition fat rather than remove it. Wondering why that was not the case for you.

Be cautious about having fillers injected under your eyes. It can cause problems.

I didn't know about the hollowness under the eyes till I experienced it . My doctor never informed me about this problem before the surgery. I am curious as to why you told me to be careful about having fillers put under the eyes? My doctor said she thought this would be an option for me to fill in that hollowness under the eyes. I am wondering if she again did not tell me something I should be aware of doing this procedure. I would be very upset if she does this procedure on me and I end up yet with another problem. Thank you for your concern. I have the appointment in early May. Please let me know what can happen with this procedure.

I had upper eyelid surgery done five weeks ago...can anyone please tell me if they experienced pulling and tightness between the eyelid and the eyebrow and if so, for how long did this last? Especially when I try to open my eyes up wide I feel the pulling ! Help

Your eyes look really nice. I had upper and lower bleph 14 months ago and I am happy with the upper but very unhappy the lower. My under eyes look hollow now and the doctor said the only way to help with that issue is to have a fat transfer or fillers. I wish I knew that could happen before the surgery. I am saving to have filler put in for now because fat transfer is expensive . Your eyes came out beautiful and you will continue to see even more improvement as time goes on. It took my eyes about 6 months before I saw how nice the upper lids looked. Best wishes
