Everything is set but I'm getting cold feet. I'm a single mom with two kids. I have the money. Ive been saving up for about 6 months now. Im nervous because we are planning to move in a few months and I'm between jobs. I want to be sure I'm not making a selfish investment. I still want sx more than ever but I'm debating rescheduling to a time when my finances are more stable. It pains me to be at this crossroad, I have a place ticket and a sitter but I've become completely paralyzed by the he fact that 30 days from this moment I should be on the flat side. Veteran dolls...what was your financial plan to fund this procedure...were all of the risks worth the reward?

I understand how you feel but I think at this time you have to sit down and figure out what's more important for you and your family. Will you be able to survive and move into your new place when the time comes

Omg me toooo. But my concerns are about trusting the surgeon with my life cause my children are depending on me... I too am between jobs so I feel you on "if" you're making a selfish decision or not... You're not... If not now, then when? It's your time..

Yes! This thought propels me forward! I am a bit more trusting when it comes to surgery because I've had two c-sections, ankle reconstruction, carpel tunnel surg., and my wisdoms out. The thought of who will be there for my babies is in the back of my mind though. Im certain I'll come out alive but ill probably be a bit bitchy for a few weeks.

I don't think you're being selfish one bit. We make a sacrifice everyday for our children. (Especially our bodies) if you've saved money for this then do it!! As long as it doesn't jeopardize you and your families we'll being then I say go for it! I'll be following your journey!

Ok. I'm doing it...I think. Lol. I'm actually in the airport now hoping everything falls in place. If not then I'll chalk it up to circumstances because everything happens for a reason.

Do it for your self I was just thinking like you an went for my TT May 9th An have two kids An moving around fine you deserve it an God will make sure your move an job situation will be ok if you pray that he will make sure you are ok an if you believe it you will be fine is single mothers deserve more then we think an second guess it do something for you these days missy

I have been fantasizing over this moment for 6 months now. I'm really frustrated because my SX my flight my sitters my lodging...pretty much every big piece has been arranged. I even have the money. I know if I get SX the pain will make me regret everything the first few months so I didn't wanna place my self in a situation where I get SX and I can't be happy about. I've decided to wait until August. It worries me that something very well could come up next time I plan it all out so I'm just ready to take the plunge now and put the money in the table now. If my financial situation doesn't change in the next week I'm gonna call it.

I reached out to YILY to change to a date in August and there were no dates I was able to confirm so I'm going in April. I'm just gonna take a leap of faith, just roll with it. This is a true desire that's in my heart and I'm gonna walk it out.

I'm really not trying to rain on your parade . But I have heard so many horror stories from girls who go to the Dominican republic . Please do your research. Girls are dying down there. There is a lot of great surgeons in the states. I just had a BBL in Miami a month ago. The surgery is a tuff recovery. It's not worth taking a chance. They do not have our same standards.

It's ok. Anything is possible. I did my research and I've heard the horror stories as well. The truth is there is also a possibility of complications with any dr and compliance with preop and postop instructions are paramount. I was mostly compliant but I'm human. What ever happens after today is in Gods hands. Oxox

FYI Yily is Pregnant which is why she is not booking in August. If you've contemplated SX with Yily then get in where you fit in now or else you'll probably be waiting a till the fall or winter time.
