So, bit of a background/consultations story: I've...

So, bit of a background/consultations story:
I've always known I have wanted bigger breasts. Ever since they started 'growing' I knew it wasn't going to be much. Then due to moving/school situations I had the perfect opportunity to undergo this procedure without everyone knowing (absolutely not saying that there is anything wrong with sharing, just my personal choice!) and I had enough time to recover. So went on real self to search for doctors. Soon I found one doctor from which I loved all the before/after pictures (Dr Chapin) but the site looked very expensive (if that makes sense) and it was an hour away so I decided to try some other doctors first. After searching for a very long time I made two appointments for consultations near me. Decided that there was no harm in hearing more opinions, I decided to call Dr Chapin as well and made an appointment in between those other two. So I went to the first appointment (near me) and it was a bit pricier than I had imagined and they made me feel a bit meh. They weren't really forcing me into anything but they were surely acknowledging that this surgery was a necessity. Also, with choosing the size I had to put on an ugly bra and they put the implants in it in order for me to choose a size. I understand that most surgeons do this but it made me completely clueless. I had NO idea what size to choose as it was so unclear to me what everything really looked like because of the ugly maternity-like bra. So this consult wasn't a 100% what I expected but the surgeon did take his time with me and did explain everything so I was considering it, but not convinced.
The next day I went to see the second surgeon (Dr Chapin). He was not only explaining everything SO well, he was also funny and made me feel really comfortable. Then for sizing, he had this technology that has helped me sooo much. They made around 5 simple photos on an iPad (took 20 sec) which then made a virtual replica of my upper body. Then with this virtual 3D picture, they put 4 different cc's "on me". This was so helpful and pretty much immediately saw my perfect result which was also the 'ideal size' the device chose for me. Dr chapin was very excited over the sizing I chose, so that made me feel like I was making a good choice. This whole virtual thing was via a website (crisalix) so I could always log in and look at it at home if I were to doubt the size. After the consultation I immediately set a surgery date with Dr. Chapin and that was that. I was about to have boobs in about 2 months! (Called off the 3rd appointment, didn't want to look any further after meeting with Dr Chapin!)

So then, surgery/recovery story:
Before I knew it, I was driving to the hospital. (Had a 2 week pre-op app with Dr Chapin in which he explained all the medication I would be given, explained what I could expect from surgery and weeks after and I confirmed my size.) Everybody in the hospital was SO sweet. I wasn't nervous at all, just excited but in case I would've been they were all reassuring that it was gonna be worth it, that I could do it and they were very realistic about what I'd be feeling when I would wake up, but nothing to be scared of! So next thing I knew I woke up with a slight pressure in my breast area. I was mostly very ditzy from the anesthesia. Had to eat and drink something and was ready to go home. Don't remember much from it, pain was very doable, just very tired so went to bed immediately. (I took the nausea pill that you take pre OP and think that helped very well because I was most scared of being very sick from anesthesia but haven't felt nauseous for a second, so would recommend!) After I woke up, felt the pressure for the first time (hadn't taken any painkillers and was already about 8 hours after surgery) so even without any painkillers, the 'pain' is just pressure! I wasn't nervous for pain going into this, but if you are (of course every experience is different but..) I would seriously advice you not to stress about it! It is very doable and I'm sure it will be less pain than you'd expect!! After that, tried to take the pain killers as prescribed every six or so hours until I ran out (about day 5 or so?), after that switched to Tylenol only at night (until day 10). The most pain, for me, was during the night or when waking up. Sleeping on your back, in an inclined position really is NO fun. That was probably the most annoying thing about all this. Your back and shoulders are gonna HURT. When I'd wake up (in the night or morning) my boobs would be very sore and couldn't really do much, so would advice keeping your pills next to you in your bed because the first 3 nights are gonna be rough (most painful it's gonna get, but manageable(!), just tiring). Around the 2 week mark started sleeping on my sides and since then been sleeping really okay again. I had glue around my stitches, have been starting to fall off since week 3 so I've been starting to use biocorneum (got a bottle from my surgeon, read online that many people don't get it and it's very expensive stuff! so maybe keep in mind) and so far it's looking good. I am now 1mo PO and couldn't have wished for a better experience. If I had to do it all again, wouldn't have changed a thing and I'd do it in a heartbeat. Really feeling great, so happy with my body now! If you are still on the verge, I would so recommend it!! It is SO SO SO worth it. Also, couldn't recommend my surgeon enough!! If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Sorry about the long story, just wanted to make sure I told everything!

Loved everything about Dr. Chapin and his practice!! Entire staff is very warm, kind and make you feel very comfortable. Dr Chapin himself is extremely kind, very funny but also very smart. Every question I had was answered in such a simple, yet intelligent way that made SO much sense. Dr Chapin does everything regarding the safest, newest options and told me every reasoning he had for using such a technique/method/device/placement/implant/etc. I am now 1 month PO and my boobs look better than I could ever imagine!! Love love love everything about them and would not change a thing if I had to do it again.
