I would highly recommend Dr. Choy

I am an early 30’s female who has had non-incisional double eyelid surgery two times previously about 10 years ago. I knew that this type of non-incisional surgery would not last forever and during the later part of 2020, my eye lids became quite subtle and droopy/soggy. It was during this time that I decided to have an incisional procedure carried out to my eye lids, to make my eye more defined and to keep my eye lids from sagging.

After carrying out plenty of due diligence and research online, I found Dr Ellis Choy. Dr. Choy had plenty of positive reviews regarding his amazing technique used in double eyelid surgery. For the first consultation, I was quite nervous however he explained the procedure to me was kind, understanding and very professional throughout the entire consultation. I did not feel rushed and I can tell that Dr. Choy really spent the time needed with me to explain everything thoroughly and professionally. After the first consultation, I felt comfortable with Dr. Choy and his clinic and decided to proceed with the surgery with him. 

My experience throughout the surgical journey was a mix of emotions, feeling nervous and excited both at the same time. The most painful part was the local anaesthetic injection, but nurse Julia held my hand and reassured me that I was ok and she really made me feel quite relaxed and taken care of. During the operation, Dr. Choy and his team had conversations with me and explained what was happening every step of the way. This made me feel relaxed and the operation went smoothly. On day of the operation, I brought a photo book which had various images of my desired eye shape and showed this file to Dr. Choy. It was very helpful to share my thoughts with him and to have an idea of the expected outcome after the operation.

It’s been 7 weeks since the surgery and the swelling has gone down and the scars are not really visible anymore. I really like my new eyes with the lifted eyelashes and I have had many compliments from family and friends. I am enjoying make-up now and can’t stop checking the mirror everyday. I feel a new round of confidence with my eyes and I really appreciate Dr. Ellis Choy, Julia, Catherine and his entire team. I would highly recommend Dr. Choy and his wonderful team for double eyelid surgery! Thank you Dr. Choy!
