Wonderful Experience with Dr. Taghva!!!

Words cannot express how fortunate I feel to have found Dr. Taghva. I flew out from New York to see her and I would fly across the country again without hesitation for any procedure with her. I found Dr. Taghva on RealSelf and flew out to California in December 2019 for revision Asian eyelid surgery and ptosis repair. My first Asian eyelid procedure was done by an experienced Manhattan surgeon, however, the eyelid fold didn’t take hold in my left eye. I consulted several Manhattan doctors for revision surgery and was told by all of them that my doctor had removed too much skin and there was nothing they could do. I then video-consulted with Dr. Taghva and another doctor in California who both said the issue wasn’t excessive skin removal and could be improved with fat replacement and ptosis repair. I chose Dr. Taghva and set up an appointment with Donna who guided me through all the arrangements. Dr. Ho’s surgery center is clean, modern and beautiful. Her staff are all so kind and helpful. Dr. Taghva’s gentle demeanor and kind and patient attitude calmed any fears of the surgery. I was thrilled immediately after the surgery. For the first time in my life I had a crease that folded effortlessly. Even with the eyelid tape/glue I’d been wearing most of my life I have had to roll my eyes and raise my eyebrows to force a crease that would disappear seconds later. I would repeat this action all day long. I was so conscious of my slipping crease that I avoided looking directly at people. The mechanical improvement alone was well worth the surgery, but Dr. Taghva improved it further with a new even crease and ptosis repair. Easier make up application and fewer forehead wrinkles from no longer having to raise my eyebrows are added bonuses! I 100% recommend Dr.Taghva to anyone considering cosmetic surgery. I would gladly fly across the country for any procedure with Dr. Taghva.
