My experience:
I’ve always had multiple folds in my eyelids, so after waiting until I was 20 yrs old, I decided to get double eyelid surgery and get rid of the triple folds once and for all! I truly thought I did enough research, but my experience with Wave and my double eyelid surgery was not what I expected, and my results at 3-months post op are unsatisfactory thus far. My initial goal with getting surgery was to get rid of my multiple folds(I wanted a single crease). My right eye looks even worse than before and still has three creases. I also consulted with an occuloplastic surgeon to get a second opinion and she said my right eye does in fact have three remaining creases that can only be fixed through revision unfortunately.
Both my eyelids don’t fold on the surgical crease, but instead folds above it. Immediately after the surgery, my eyes were uneven and I was hopeful it would get better, but it hasn’t resolved itself. I’m now waiting for the 6-month mark.
After both consultations I had with Dr. Wong and deciding upon the style I wanted, we both agreed upon a hybrid shape with a medial epi as well so that I could achieve that. I stressed the importance multiple times that I did not want my crease to look tapered. I wanted an open look, and showed her pictures of what I did not want so it would be extra clear. I thought we had agreed upon the open hybrid shape, but the tapered look I did not want, is what I ended up with. I will update my eyelids again at 6 months as I’m still healing.

** I had a zoom call with both Dr. Wong and consultant emily on October 16 so that I could address my concerns about my super uneven and multiple creases on my right eye. All I was told was that my eyes are still swollen, to keep icing/ doing hot packs, and that my eyes were already hollow beforehand which is why my eyes look like that ?? I was really sad about my eyes and wanted to explain to Dr. Wong what I didn’t really like about my results, but the response I got back was that “I shouldn’t assume” the results of my eyes, even though I was just telling her what I saw in the mirror. After Dr. Wong left the zoom call, I asked the consultant Emily about what we could do if I wasn't happy with my results in 6 months and she said I was being too aggressive.. I dont feel like my concerns were being heard and I felt like I was bothering them by having legitimate questions about my clearly bad looking eyelids!

Girl I am so sorry but you were 100% botched. I would not go back to them for a revision.
