Smooth and Subtle Enhancements
WORTH IT$5,001
I had incisional double eyelid surgery (w/ fat removal) when I was 17 in Korea. I also had endoscopic sinus surgery in 2015 but chose not to correct my nose bridge at that time. While researching doctors, I wanted to make sure my results would be subtle and not too "done up". After months of research and several consultations with local and out-of-state doctors, I decided to have my procedures done with Dr. Lee. I got revision double eyelid surgery (incisional method, ptosis repair, epicanthoplasty), rib rhinoplasty, buccal fat removal, fat grafting to my under eyes & nasolabial folds & lips.
Today marks exactly 21 days post-op and I am very pleased with how smooth the recovery has been and subtle yet distinct results in my appearance. This isn't my first cosmetic procedure so knowing what to expect during recovery and understanding how my body reacts (I tend to swell ALOT) was helpful in setting expectations. It's imperative that you trust the process, your doctor, and be patient with the recovery which doesn't come overnight, but rather months.

Eyes Update - Day 27
Today is Day 27 post-op and the first time I've put on any eye makeup since getting the surgery. Still very swollen but I like how I don't have to keep compensating for sleepy eyes with my brows and forehead muscles. I still overuse my forehead too much out of habit but working on trying to relax it so I can avoid the headaches. I'm very happy with the results and know that it'll look great in another few months once swelling has all gone down.

1 Month Update
Today (Aug 3) marks exactly 1 month from my incisional eyelid surgery and rib rhinoplasty (done on Jul 2). Recovery hasn't been linear and varies greatly depending on how much sodium I consume the day or night before. The swelling slowly decreases throughout the day and then "re-puffs" up during the night while I sleep, only to restart the cycle over again the next day. I'm going in for my 6 week follow-up next Friday but continue to keep my eyelids hydrated with some light aquaphor massaging (also to help breakdown scar tissue). When doing a side-by-side compare, I can now see a noticeable drop in my eyebrows which I'm very happy with and wouldn't mind it dropping a little more.
