I got my double lid surgery along with ptosis correction and epi only on the right eye at view plastic surgery clinic, s.korea. It has been one month since then and i still have swelling which was expected. I like my crease so far and i guess its gonna go even lower?? as the swelling subsides. I chose this clinic through docfinder cause i liked their before and after photos plus an influencer i admire went here albeit for a different procedure. I wasn’t sure about my surgeon at first (he seemed young?) but my consultations with him were fine although he didnt speak english my road manager and the clinic consultant did a fine job at letting him know what i needed. Thankfully he did warn me abt pain during ptosis before the surgery, i have low tolerance for pain and i found it really painful towards the end of my surgery i think?? Idk i was hallucinating/dreaming the entire time but i remember that pain.. it was awful for me. But after the surgery i had no pain except a bit of discomfort on the lids. Oh and i also remember the doctor talking a lot at the end to the nurse i think?? While i was still half conscious and That annoyed me mostly cause i found it disturbing my dream and honestly it felt like a lot of talking when he was finishing up on my eyes..i cant be too sure lmao. I was really anxious as this was my first ps experience so i feel like i rushed my consultation a bit cause i just wanted to get it done with. My only regret would be is to have been more mentally prepared and ask more questions to my surgeon. I did watch several youtube videos on double eyelid surgeries so i felt a bit more relaxed afterwards lol. I had a good experience and my recovery in seoul was great, i stayed there for 9 days after surgery. I started getting impatient and anxious only after i flew back home. I had been getting headaches 2 weeks post-op and i thought it was because of the surgery but as it turns it was cause i have astigmatism and the correct lens and prescription fixed that so no more headaches :)
I really wish i had gotten the pumpkin juice provided by docfinder as i feel like it really helped with the swelling :( I’m really excited for the final results now and there has been no other complications so far. My only worry is that i wanted an inline (tapered) but the left eye seems to be a lil parallel but cant be sure since the clinic says its still swollen so will have to wait and see how it progresses. Overall im really pleased that i finally got this done as i’d been wanting it since i was 20 (i’m 25 now). I really hope i’m completely satisfied with my results by next year. Worth it for now.

Hi! I like your result! I also went to Seoul for DES but my surgeon was Dr. Seokjun Lee from REGEN hospital :) Although, I’m only a week postop but already like my result. Did you proceed a full incision or partial?
