Pleasant Experience with Natural Results.

Pre-surgery:
My experience with Dr. Kang and his staff exceeded my expectations. I have never gotten surgery of any kind in my life before so the decision to get this procedure done was a daunting and fearful one. My first consultation with Dr. Kang was three years ago, when I wasn't emotionally ready to commit. During those three years I thoroughly thought about his recommendations and explanation of his technique/strategy for my case. Along with that, I conducted extensive research on other plastic surgeons in the area who were also well known for these procedures. After much consideration and deeper desire to improve my breathing and the health of my eyes, I decided to get a second consultation. He reaffirmed me on my fears of altering my natural image and thoroughly explained his strategy and reasons why it was the best. I was able to trust him seeing that he was consistent with his recommendations even years later.
During surgery:
Environment is always important to me wherever I go and the operation room was clean, warm, and fresh. Dr. Kang played music of my choice for me during surgery and made sure I felt more than comfortable in the room. The most painful parts were the numbing shots but afterwards everything was completely bearable and not scary as I imagined surgery to be. His nurses that assisted were also friendly and very pleasant to have in the room. Dr. Kang also let me see what I looked like in the mirror periodically during the procedure so that I could be engaged and part of the process. I felt respected and cared for as a patient as Dr. Kang checked in on how I was feeling as he worked.
Post-surgery:
I was extremely satisfied with the results! I had gotten the double eyelid surgery and a rhinoplasty but both didn't drastically change my staple image. I was able to go into work and not look completely like a different person. Immediately I noticed an improvement of breathing through my nose and after the swelling in my eyelids settled down, my eyelashes were no longer irritating my cornea. I love that Dr. Kang listened to my concerns and addressed them instead of following his own agenda. He also created a custom strategy for my case. Every person has a different facial build and Dr. Kang is one of a kind in addressing a different formula for this very reason. He doesn't work with a template for all of his clients to fit into. He takes into consideration who you are and what you look like as an individual. I also appreciated how much the office staff follows up with your recovery post-surgery. They do an amazing job with post-op care. Dr. Kang is a facial sculpting artist who cares deeply for his patients. I would recommend him to any one of my friends and family.
