I had incisional ptosis correction and epicantoplasty done with Dr. Chae Soo Wook in June. I live in the US, so I reached out over WhatsApp and was able to get an appraisal with pricing then schedule an in-person consult. I had four consults scheduled and ultimately decided to go with Eight due to the very thorough consult I had with the surgeon. Dr. Chae Soo Wook, took the time to explain the different surgical options and answered my questions in detail. I emphasized that I wanted a very natural look, which he took into consideration. He also spoke English very well, which was a big benefit being able to converse with the surgeon directly. I was able to schedule the surgery within the same week.

The pre-op and post-op care were both great. A notable downside was the level of pain I experienced during the actual procedure. I did not feel that I received adequate anesthesia and was in tears by the end. I kept being told by the nurse to stop crying and relax because it would lead to more bleeding. I give anesthesia for a living and am familiar with what pain you should and should not feel, yet I felt like my concerns were not being taken seriously. That said, the recovery process went smoothly, and I’m really pleased with how everything turned out. Overall I am happy with the results. I also appreciated that the clinic was responsive over WhatsApp even after I had returned back to the US.
