I am writing this review 1 year after my surgery with Dr. Kang. I waited to write this review because I wanted to make sure I'm writing an accurate review of the end result and 1 year after surgery, it is safe to say I am 1000% glad I chose to do my surgery with Dr. Kang. I love my results so much and I will definitely consider going back to him for future procedures! Thank you so much, Dr Kang and team!!
I flew to him from Toronto, Canada. It was my very first cosmetic procedure - before this, I had never had any cosmetic treatments including injectables or laser, so I was VERY nervous when I began considering surgery. I knew I wanted double eyelid surgery and was also considering lower eyelid surgery to correct my hereditary eyebags (I'm in my late 20's) and fat grafting to improve my facial contours. After consultation with Dr. Kang, I decided to do all 3 surgeries.
During my search for a plastic surgeon, I made sure to do ample research to find the best possible surgeon for me because I wanted to get it right the first time. I wanted to find a surgeon who was experienced with performing facial surgeries, had a keen eye for facial aesthetics and the skill to successfully perform these procedures to improve my features without looking unnatural.
I paid for consultations with 3 other plastic surgeons before I found Dr. Kang, and I knew right away he was the surgeon for me. I highly recommend checking out Dr. Kang's Instagram. It was very helpful to be able to hear him explain the planning of the procedure and see his friendly bedside manner. The main reason why I chose to go with Dr. Kang is because he's so good at giving a natural look - in all the before and afters of his work, his patients all look better but never overdone and always harmonious with the rest of their facial features.
During the actual surgery, I was super nervous and I was there there alone, but Dr. Kang and his team made me feel so comfortable and cared for during the entire process. It's true that Dr. Kang has great taste in music (and a great sense of humor too)! And Soar, one of the nurses with me in the operating room even held my hand to calm me down during the surgery.
1 year later and I am still so, so happy with my results. No one could even tell I had anything done and my close friends and family just comment on how I look younger. After I flew back to Toronto, his team checked up on me frequently to make sure I was healing well. I could not have asked for a better experience and I'm so thankful I found Dr. Kang and his team! I highly, highly recommend him if you're considering any facial plastic surgery.
