2 Months Post DES and Ptosis Correction
Kjh001June 9, 2025
It’s been 9 weeks since my eyelid surgery. One concern is that a part of my left eyelid doesn’t fold as deeply as before. I’m uncertain whether this is due to a stitch coming off prematurely or the natural asymmetry of my Mongolian folds, as noted by the clinic. This uncertainty is quite worrying. I’m anxious if I may need a revision, but need to wait for the final results at 6 months.
On a surprising note, I no longer require glasses or contact lenses since the surgery! While my vision wasn’t poor before, I did need correction for tasks like reading signs while driving and viewing monitors at work. Now, I can do all those without any visual aids.
