One Month Post-Op!

Hello! I'm writing to share my full experience at Marble Plastic Surgery with Dr Suh. I got a consultation at Marble done bc of the solid work I had seen online.

Me: 40 yo female with time restraints from work. My eyelids were drooping and made me look sleepy, and it was affecting my confidence. Looking for a non-incisional eyelid surgery.

Here's a breakdown of my entire process. Mine is a little wild since I decided to get the surgery done the same day.

Marble is located next to the metro and in a small entrance on the right side of a Five Guys.

Front desk: This is the only part that makes me wanna laugh. Yes, it's so true that across the industry, the women working at these clinics are unpleasant.

Translator: SO AMAZING!!!! I had Miss Chang, who is absolutely incredible. She has found the perfect balance of kind, welcoming, professional, and helpful. My mom and aunt also did consultations here and absolutely loved her.

Consultation: You're brought into a consultation room where you discuss what you would like done, then a doctor will come in and chat with you. Dr Suh took two toothpicks and traced an outline of what a non-incisional outcome would be, and I liked how he was conservative in his work and had no problem telling people "no" if he thought something was a bad idea.

After Doc left, we discussed a price, and we started the process. (Through WhatsApp the clinic previously told me to fast if I was interested in a same-day process.)

Miss Chang walked me through each step, first to change into stretchy surgery clothes and remove jewelry, then to wash any makeup off my face.

On the surgical table I was informed that I'd be under anesthesia. Felt quite nervous, but you just trail off into the abyss from the anesthesia. I was conscious the entire time but in another world. As the anesthesia wore off, I could hear the nurse and Dr Suh talking. I could also feel the stitches being pulled through my eyelid like a curtain, but none of it hurt at all. Towards the very end, you're asked to open and close your eyes.

After surgery you'll move from the operating table to a little resting room with an ice pack for my eyes. I stayed in the resting room and slept for an extra hour. When I woke up, I felt woozy but otherwise perfectly fine and could walk around with no issue that day and the coming days, even though I looked like a ridiculous puff ball walking around town.

I'm pleased with the entire experience, and my aunt will be coming back to get her upper and lower bleph done by Dr Suh this fall.
