The Most Amazing, Natural Double Eyelid Result I Could Have Hoped for

Both my parents have either very small or non-existent double eyelids. Since I was 15 years old I wanted to have bigger eyes and started using double eyelid tape at school every day. After about 5 years of using eyelid tape, I felt my eyelids were starting to sag and the crease was not as easy to create due to my skin losing a bit of elasticity. I grew very self-conscious and could not even leave the house without tape or eye makeup. I eventually started doing research and decided that having this surgery was worth the money and risk. I wanted to get this surgery to save time in the mornings with my eye makeup routine, and also to feel confident without the need of heavy eyeshadow and eyeliner.

The consultation with Dr Choy was very relaxing and reassuring. He guided me through the entire process and showed me cases that were similar to my eye type and shape. This made me feel like I could trust him entirely and helped me feel at ease. During the surgery, the nurses and Dr Choy were patient and guided me through the process, I felt minimal to no pain during the entire procedure. The healing was also an easy experience, there was no bleeding and minimal swelling for me so I carried about my daily routine as usual. Overall, I had a really positive surgery experience, which was a much better outcome than I could have expected.

I loved my results after the stitches were removed. I feel much more confident in my own skin and have even started leaving the house with no makeup. Because I had been wearing eyelid tape for majority of my young adult life, no one even noticed what I had gotten done because of how natural the results look, even just 2 weeks post op. I am so glad I decided to go through with this operation, and even more thankful that I selected the right surgeon to look after me.
