WORTH IT
Here’s my personal review of this clinic:
Marble Plastic Surgery in Gangnam, Seoul, has been very helpful with answering all my questions and they have an English translator onsite so you do not have to hire one. She has been very helpful via WhatsApp and during the in-person consultation.
It’s been about one month since the surgery and I consulted with Dr. Suh who is known to be meticulous with DES according to other reviews, so I decided to choose him to perform the procedure.
I shared my concerns of one of my eyes being a little bit bigger than the other because of a double eyelid naturally forming and the other eye still has the inner eyelid.
I originally was informed that I needed the incisional DES but upon doing the real life consultation, Dr. Suh recommended the non-incisional as I didn’t have enough droop to truly need a incisional procedure and he said that if anything, the threads can be taken out in the future and be redone if necessary. He also opened the inner corners of my eyes and didn’t recommend the outer due to my facial structure from what I recalled during the consultation.
The healing process wasn’t as bad as I thought and I was able to walk and explore the whole day after the day of the procedure. Of course my vision started to blur naturally towards the end of the day with the prescribed eye ointment, but so far it has been healing with no complications.
?With my current healing progress, one of my eyelids is still slightly swollen and still healing as the clinic said it will take about 2-3 months on average.
So far I do like the formation of the double eyelids and it’s been a little easier with applying makeup. My eyelashes are also more visible with the double eyelids. I’m looking forward to the next month with the healing process.
