Double Eyelid Surgery at Marble Plastic Surgery
I want to share my experience, as reading other people's experiences gave me the courage to go through the surgery. I have been considering double eyelid surgery for many many years.
I started my research last year by reading reviews and looking at before-and-after pictures on the Unni app. I saved the picture I liked and added the clinics to my list. After viewing the saved pictures, I decided on 1mm and Marble, as I liked their natural double eyelids. I contacted them in December via WhatsApp to discuss details and prices and to schedule an appointment for a consultation and surgery. I chose Marble because they were very responsive to my questions, and checking the date and time I wanted was easier. After checking the availability of the date I wanted, I made the appointment and paid a 10% deposit for the surgery.
I met with my English consultant on the surgery day and discussed what I wanted. She was helpful and answered my questions while I waited for the doctor. I told Dr Suh Yong Hoon I wanted my eyes to look natural and semi-outline. I also showed him the style of the double eyelid line I desired. He recommended incisional double eye surgery with ptosis correction.
Dr Suh was kind and patient while he listened to my concerns, explained the entire process in detail, and showed me the desired line many times with toothpicks.
The consultant took me to the surgery room, and the nurses got me prepared for the surgery. He redrew the line before he started the surgery and kept me calm by conversing during the surgery when I woke up from anaesthesia. I felt some tugging and stitching and opened and closed my eyes when asked, and the pain level was 1.
After the surgery, my eyes felt heavy, and my eyesight was blurry, but I didn't feel any pain. I took a nap and went out for dinner on the day of the surgery. I used the eye mask they provided for 7 days, ice for 3 days, and warm for 4 days in the morning and evening. The nurse removed the stitches after 7 days, and Dr Suh checked my eyelids and said everything looked good and that my eyelids were healing well.
It has been a month since my surgery, and I am very happy with the results. I would highly recommend the clinic and Dr Suh.
