Lumps under skin of lower lid & upper lids as baggy as prior to surgery

ORIGINAL POST

Not all doctors are good at every procedure.

It’s now been a couple of years since my blepharoplasty, upper and lower eye lift. The lower lids were largely successful with the exception of the lumps under the skin. One is extremely noticeable and sometimes people ask me what it is. The smaller ones aren’t noticed unless one is focusing on the large one. I assume they are stitches that remain from the surgery. When I went for the follow up visits no information was given by Dr. Hodge.
The upper lids appear as baggy as they did prior to surgery. When I inquired about this Dr. Hodge’s comment was that if they were smoother I might not be able to close my eyes. Absurd. Just lack of willingness and accountability. Another surgeon will be performing the revision surgery.
