I’m Sooo Happy with my Results
I had a great experience with Thank You. From my consultation day through the end. On my consultation day I mentioned to the translator that I was trying to make it to 4 consults that day, and they made sure I would be able to get in and out with time to eat lunch! Compared to other clinics I went to that had a bit of a cold vibe and weren’t mindful of patients’ time, I was so impressed.
The consultants also really accommodated my quick travel schedule to fit me in while I was in Korea. It really felt like they bent over backwards to have the doctor work on me. I am so appreciative!
Dr. Kim’s reputation preceded him; I had hardly heard any negative feedback about his work. I saw a lot of cases on Gangnam Unni showing his work and really liked his results. Once at the consultation, I could tell he was so sure of what he could do and make it look beautiful. I told him I wanted a pretty shape to my eyes with an open “dolly” look, and he assured me that my eyes would look bright, beautiful and natural. When I mentioned concerns that other doctors mentioned, he said very confidently that those concerns only apply if the procedure is not done well, and that I wouldn’t have to worry. My consultation experience was so reassuring and made me really excited and hopeful!
The surgery itself was a 1/10 in terms of pain. I was so grateful for the friendliness and reassurance of Chloe the English translator as well as the consultants to guided me through surgery prep.
Recovery was so smooth. I didn’t feel pain, just warmth and swelling. I was able to walk around just fine the day after my surgery. I was given everything I needed to heal through the week.
I was nervous for stitch removal but it ended up being painless and quick! My procedure was revisional and my first experience was in another country and the stitch removal was killer. The nurses at Thank You were so gentle and calming, and I was amazed.
Now I’m 7 weeks post op and I still feel so pleased and grateful every time I look at my eyes. Thank you Dr. Kim for your skilled hand and for a wonderful experience!
