Double Canthoplasty with Dr Song Hoon

During the consultation, Dr Song Hoon said he could only extend by a few milimetres on both sides. I was happy to take whatever he could achieve, especially as this was a greater change than anyone else I'd consulted with. But actually, in my opinion, he made quite a dramatic extension on the outer corners
Girin offerred aftercare such as cleaning and stitch removal, but more important to me was that they allowed me to return home early (though I very much appreciate that Girin offers good aftercare for those that can stay in Seoul longer than me).
My healing process looked like: very red and watery eyes and some bruising that improved over about 2 weeks, with sensitivity upon eye movements for the first 3-4 days. I didn't notice any considerable swelling. Someone asked me out on a date on day 2 or 3 or (he did not mind the redness, but it was extremely obvious). I also had an acting job on day 9, and my eye redness just looked like seasonal allergies.
I enjoy the new pink corners to my eyes, and my altered eye shape (more flat, puppy-like). I am also so impressed how much the English Girin consultants have been checking in with me REGULARLY, every few days and weeks. They are so lovely!! It makes me feel so cared for, they are just very professional and great at their jobs. I appreciate it very much. It just feels like a nice bonus to having a good surgical result :)

I chose to get double canthoplasty with Girin because I saw they had an advertisement on their Instagram showing that their canthoplasty surgeon Dr. Song Hoon performs a special technique to do a '7-mm canthoplasty', which sounded dramatic, and that was what i wad looking for. So I asked Girin about the technique through WhatsApp and they told me it produces less swelling.

I wanted the double canthoplasty because when I've visited Seoul in the past, I've noticed women with these amazingly wide eyes, sometimes walking around the city right after their operations. I was always envious and knew I loved the transformation of dramatic canthoplasty, so I had always planned to get this procedure.

As I mentioned, I contacted Girin through WhatsApp; they were quick to reply and great at accommodating me as a foreigner. They could see me on the limited dates I was visiting Seoul. Cinderella Clinic which I was also consulting with for dramatic canthoplasty through WhatsApp said that I shouldn't do epicanthoplasty, whereas Girin said they would perform it. In the past I had been advised against inner canthoplasty with other clinics too, which deterred me from booking with them. I knew I had wanted epicanthoplasty for several years, so Girin saying I was eligible for it made me very happy, and I paid the deposit to book the consultation and surgery date.

When I arrived, the clinic's medical staff and consultants were professional. The two translators were both super lovely! I loved meeting both of them, they helped me through everything. Dr. Song Hoon is a cool and professional man, he was very pleasant to talk with, highly knowledgeable, and knew exactly what was achievable. He and the consultant listened to me very closely and considered all of the photos that I showed them for possible final results or 'look'.
