Unsure Feeling Guilty Mommy Makeover

I have been lurking on this site for over two years now, and I have recently come into money so can afford to get this done but feel very guilty about spending it on myself. I'm going to be 37 in January I'm 5'2" and 140 pounds. I have two kids age 12 and 15 and a nonsupportive boyfriend who thinks I'm perfect the way I am (they all do lol) I was looking into getting it done in the Dominican Republic and making a family vacation out of it, but I'm worried I'm going to be no fun and not enjoy myself while I'm there and I'm obviously worried about complications after surgery especially getting it done abroad. I was looking into becoming a Yily doll with a mommy makeover complete with tummy tuck and muscle repair, breast augmentation and lift, Liposuction, and Brazilian butt lift but not Kardashian style I don't want too too big lol just not for me. Any feedback good and bad it would be most appreciated, just to help me make my decision!
Thank you!

Hi! Not sure it will be much of a vacation - you will be uncomfortable for a while. As for the guilt I think most of us who are considering/have gone through procedures go through it - I did. My husband didn't understand at first either. But then he came around and has been very supportive. If you feel your life will be enhanced by getting the procedures done and it won't be a financial hardship then go for it! But please be prepared as possible - I was not prepared mentally for all the emotions I would go through and physically it can be very challenging! Good luck to you, and keep us updated on your decision!

Great to hear your doing good! How much did Dr Grace charge for your TT and repair? Where is Dr Grace located?

So I wish I could have just updated my review instead of having to make a whole new one lol Anyway, long story short, I ended up going to see Dr Grace in Burlington in June, paid my $100 consultation fee, decided just to get a tummy tuck for now, and by the end if the consultation, I put my deposit down and was set for 6 weeks later!
I'm now on the flat side as of yesterday! Still too early to tell, but I do have a nice hour glass figure for literally once in my life!
Dr Grace and the girls are all so so amazing. Nurse Michelle is fantastic. I had VON (home nurse) come and visit with me today to show me how to care for myself, do my drains, give myself my blood thinner shot. She actually called before my appointment and tried to get out of it lol. Asked if I still needed her to come and show me all those things, or if I or my partner could just do the injection on our own. Um, maybe yes I need you? I'm not a nurse, I am less than24 hours out of surgery, have never injected myself with anything before lol A little guidance would be helpful. She also kind of put up a stink when I asked her to help me readjust and tighten my binder and if she could check my gauze. That apparently was not written on the order and I was going to have to wait until Monday when I have my follow up with Dr Grace. I asked her to just show me how to adjust my binding then, and she reluctantly did. When I spoke with Michelle to find out what exactly VON was supposed to do for me, Michelle jumped right on it and told me to send her an email with my concerns so she could file a complaint. Customer service is amazing with Dr Grace.
Looking forward to updating more. Ask any questions and I'll try to answer :)

Wow, that Von person sounds awful. How are you feeling today? You're looking good under that binder btw! Good for you!

Feeling great! On my minimal prescribed pain meds and extra strength Tylenol. Seems to be doing the trick. I had a BM today to already which I was so thankful for lol

Wow, sounds like your coming along nicely! So happy for you! I've yet to have a bm! I'm a bit scared too lol I have been taking stool softeners, don't think its working tho.
Rest up and keep up the good work :)

Oh thee only reason I had a BM was because my wonderful boyfriend (and I really mean that sincerely lol) got me laxatives instead of stool softener lol and since he's been my nurse and administering my meds for me, I never questioned him. I told him what to get and he apparently had no idea what I was talking about and thought they were the same lol but once I got past the very painful cramps, let's just say, it helped regulate everything, a little too much at first, but now it's normal lol
