My tummy tuck scar 6 months post op
I have hypertrophic skin that's why I covered my old exploratory lap scars on my belly ugh I didn't know about scar treatment back then. . I mixed up some ingredients and formed a cream about a week ago. I am trying it out on myself. If it works I'm going to try to get it on the market lol but any who here are my pics requested by CThollywood

I was wondering if you had tried the scar treatment on your scars before you had them covered up. My doctor prescribes the same cream that your doctor gave you. I just started putting it on my lipo scars in addition to my incision to see if it will lighten and flatten them. I'm hoping it will. I'll be patient and see what it looks like by summer. Even if they don't go completely away, I'll probably just cover them with Dermablend makeup if I want to wear my stomach out since they're so small and I don't expose my stomach often.
Btw, you look great!!
Thank you. The scars I covered up was over a year old didn't really know about scar therapy then. My c-section scar was so low it really didn't bother me. Salama went through my c=section scar so it's very low. I just know it's there. I used the cream hr gave me. I liked it. It was just not a lot for the money they want.. I have seen some results and I like the way my concoction is doing so far. I think I will see a bigger difference in about 2 months.
Cool my doctor went through my c-section scar also. Of course it's longer now, but it follows the natural curve of my leg similar to yours, do I think it will be hardly noticeable. You're right about the price of that cream. Supposedly the big $150 bottle that I have is supposed to last 6 months. I don't care how thin of a layer you use, I don't think it will last through 6 months of putting it on twice a day. I do have some other lightening creams, but I don't think they'll do a much for the raised areas. I have raised areas where my sutures were in the lipo spots, so I'm hoping those will flatten. Also, if your concoction doesn't work, you may also want to try Bio Oil. I use that in addition to the scar cream and a lot of the darkness that was surrounding my incision in gone. The tone is almost back to normal and my dr said that I am way ahead of the curve in healing compared to what he usually sees with AA women since our skin is different and tends to darken and raise. Bio-Oil can be kind of pricey too, but they have it on Groupon sometimes for cheaper, which is where I just recently bought some replacement bottles.
Awww thanks for your follow through on my request Hun. I love that his scars are nice and low. You looking all good and Salamified!!!
Thanks I am most definitely pleased!!!
I mixed bio oil in my concoction it feel like its getting softer will keep you posted.
Have you posted all your ingredients in your concoction ?
NO I'M BEING MY OWN GUINNEA PIG FIRST. I AM TAKING A PICTURE OF MY SCAR WEEKLY TO SEE WHAT KIND OF RESULTS I WILL HAVE FIRST. I WILL DO IT FOR ABOUT 3 MONTHS AND THEN COMPARE. BECAUSE IT IS QUITE A FEW INGREDIENTS IT IS PRICEY TO DO AS A TRIAL. BUT IF IT DOES GOOD. I'M GOING TO SEE IF I CAN BOTTLE IT UP AND SELL IT LOL.
