37 y/o wanting a change

I've always been on the heavier side, or like most people like to say "thick". I always thought about plastic surgery but never really took it serious enough until now. I'm tired of carrying around the extra weight I'm not looking to be a size 2, I just want to have that sexy hour glass figure and feel good about my body. After reading some of the reviews and other people's experiences I finally decided to reach out and received some quotes as to pricing, and what type of surgery would benefit me the most. Ultimately I've decided to go with Dr. Mallol in the Dominican Republic. Traveling out of the country is a bit overwhelming, so I decided to document and share my story in hopes to learn from others the do's and don't and help other ladies out with their journey. I've been to the DR before on vacation, so I'm familiar with the culture and luckily I speak Spanish which will be a big help communicating with the people there during my stay. The price quoted to me includes surgery (TT, Liposculture and DBL) anesthesia, pre-op assessment, 1 post op garment, 5 post-op massages, ground transportation from airport and medical facility, post-op basic prescription and 8 days recovery house stay. I'm still not quite sure which recovery house to use (Sea lily, Armonia or Paradise Recovery). I've read some not good reviews on all three, hopefully I can get some feedback from someone that's been to one theses places recently. Im responsible for airfare which isn't so bad, considering the fact that plastic surgery here in the states would be double the price I'm paying. I'm hoping to have surgery sometime in July or August. I'm planning on traveling by myself, once I confirm my dates, I'll post and hope I'll meet someone who'll be there around the same dates as me. I'm so looking forward to this journey!!!

So after several days of research and reviews I've decided that it would be best for me to lose weight before having a tummy tuck or butt lift. My current BMI is 38.1 and it's not recommended to have those type of procedure with a BMI higher then 30. So in hopes to help me lose weight I've opted for a gastric sleeve. I've received several quotes from physician in Mexico, after talking to the coordinator at ALO and me reading so many positive reviews about Dr. Lopez, I feel comfortable enough going through with surgery. I'm so ready to loose this weight. July 17th can't get here soon enough!
