I’ve finally gotten all of my drains out and I’m super happy about that. I’ve found a good Faja but need to have it taken in already. In my faja I think I look great. But without it i feel like i wasn’t pulled tight enough. I have some pudge at the bottom of my tummy and it doesn’t look great when i sit down. I m is I’m only 5 weeks out but i just don’t see this area getting any tighter. I have the dog ear under my boob that looks like I’m going to need a scar revision. I’m just slightly disappointed.

Hi, if it's any consolation, I think you look great compared to your before pics, and I think 5 weeks is still pretty early. Will you be traveling to GA so your dr. can address your concerns?

Compression compression compression

Man!!! I thought I’d be mentally prepared for this compression thang considering I’ve been following folks on this journey for well over a year but no ma’am. It’s either not the right garment or too tight and can’t sleep unless I take a Percocet. That binder is the Devil and it only causes swelling and pain in my hips because it won’t stay down and around my incision without cutting off circulation to my hips. Ive ordered at least 4 other garments to see what works. In the meantime I’m so swollen and full of fluid. I still have 2 drains but at this rate I’ll never get rid of them.

ugh sorry to hear you are so uncomfortable! hoping you find a binder that works for you soon. I had my drains for 19 days so hopefully yours come out real soon! Hang in there, it does get better :)

thank you. I hope you have a healthy recovery as well. I tried weaning around day 4 and woke up and couldn’t move. i realized then it was too soon so around day 7 i was off Percocet and only taking extra strength Tylenol. Don’t rush the process. Take it for as long as you need to.

I got the 3 in 1 binder, but I haven’t been able to sleep with any of the binders comfortably. I loosen them when I sleep. My lower abdomen doesn’t seem to get compressed as well as it should and the doctor told me to massage it bc it’s hard there. I look great in the mornings though lol. I like your 1 piece faja ... where did you get that from if you don’t mind me asking?

i have to take a pain pill at night sometimes because my binder be so tight just to help me sleep. the piece in the second photo is leonisa and the one in the 3rd photo is Marena. neither gives enough support so the hunt continues.

I use the 2nd part to this 3 in 1 post partum binder. I tried a few things as well, but this seems to work. I’m a little over 4 weeks po. Here is a link https://www.amazon.com/Postpartum-Support-Recovery-pelvis-Shapewear/dp/B00T2WBSC6

Also thanks! I may try this for my regular day wear. I have less than 2 weeks left in my binder. They always roll up anyway so they don’t compress my lower area well. I need something all over. I hope you find something that works for you :-) Happy healing!

I’ve been doing well painwise. I’m 6days PO and I’m ready to wean from the Percocet. The last time i did it i couldn’t move so this time i hope it feels better. My only concern is the area under my boob that appears to be have this area that look likes it’s Fary tissue in it but not completely apart of my breast. It doesn’t look good at all. I’ll get to talk with Dr. Davoudi tomorrow. Oh and i hate this binder.
