Male Tummy Tuck - 32 Yrs Old - Dominican Republic, DO

After doing research on abdominoplasty (commonly known as a tummy tuck) which removes excess skin and fat around the stomach while tightening the abdominal wall for over a year I found DR. Aramis Vega. After speaking with him twice, I decided to proceed with the surgery and booked my flight for the following month. I was a bit nervous and skeptical about the whole thing because of the recovery process and also because it was in Dominican Republic away from my family however Dr. Vega assured me I was a perfect candidate while he also educated me on certain things I wasn't aware of. To start of I was able to wire the money via bank which was very convenient so I didn't travel with that money. Once I arrived I went straight to his clinic which has state of art equipment and is remarkably clean! I lasted a lil less than 2 hours there : I was seem by his assistant first who is a medical doctor, by a cardiologist and a phlebotomist who drew my blood. Later that evening I was medically cleared once all the results were back from the lab. I then scheduled the surgery for the for the day after next. The morning of the surgery Dr. Vega was there again answering pretty much the same questions I had --- I was bit nervous. I had the abdominoplasty and lipo on my back done. I then stayed in the clinic over night and was discharged by Dr. vega the next day. Prior to getting discharged a therapist came to my room and gave me the first therapy session. Once I was discharged I went to his clinic daily to get therapy (massage therapy for drainage) from a therapist he has at his working there. After the second week my drain was removed but i still continued with the therapy up until the following week when I came back to NY. All throughout my stay at Dominican Republic Dr.Vega and his staff were very attentive. DR. Vega has great bedside manners and always was available either when I went to the clinic or via phone. This I believe helped me a lot being that at first I very swollen and felt sad but he was always checking up on me and noting the improvement. His staff was also outstanding, very professional and helpful. Right after surgery I wore an extra large girdle because I was swollen and at first it can't be too tight --- now 5 weeks later I'm still swollen but down to a small tight. It's only been 5 weeks and my scars are to a very minimal which means in a few months they might not be visible. Before and after pictures coming soon!
