2 weeks and 2 days post op!
Whoo! I thought these days would never come.. and by that I mean days when I could finally move around again and do things on my own like a human being!
As of yesterday I was 15 days post op at which time Dr. Mallol said I could begin my regular vitamin/mineral regimen so I started taking my arnica and bromelaine. I have noticed that my bruising has significantly subsided but I think I have to attribute most of that to the MASSAGES. Ladies do not shrink from these massages. Between Tuesday December 27 (when I was still in DR) to December 29 (day I returned home from DR) I got about 4 massages. My girlfriend has kept up my massages since we've gotten home so I try to get a good one in at least every other day and it REALLY HELPS.
Dr. Mallol said since I have so little inflammation I only needed 1/2 massages per week. Since I have seen such wonderful results from the constant stimulation, I have taken it upon myself to make sure I get one in at least every other day, and I massage on my own while in the shower or any time I'm out of my faja. Sooooo good for healing the numbness and working out the little lumps. My belly get smoother and smaller everyday!
When I take off my faja there is no swelling and no inflammation like I have read from some other ladies in the early stages of recovery. The numbness and soreness are really going down. I am currently on the last hooks of my second stage faja which is an XXS and I think I may have to get it taken in soon. I have also started wearing my ab board so we'll see what that does.
I might've mentioned I also got lipo to my inner/outer thighs and around my knees. I've read a lot of unpleasantness about leg lipo from other ladies but I seem to be healing very well and my legs are looking slim and proportioned. I'm so happy with Dr. Mallol's work. I feel I got exactly what I wanted which was just a more sculpted version of the body I have already. I work out really hard and I'm serious about body goals when it comes to dieting and exercise. This surgery has really helped to define the muscles/body I have already been working so hard for.
That said, now I am at home relaxing and eating cake! Yasssss
I can't start working out again until 1 month post op and in the meantime I am definitely trying to rebuild my strength by eating as well as I can, and keeping up with my healing regimen. I still take iron and folic acid daily, and have now added bromelaine and arnica montana.
I'm sorry I haven't put up anymore pictures, I know pictures are very helpful to you. I will try to add a couple for you soon.
Sending you my well wishes on your journey!
xoxo

Rough Post Op Pic
Here's one pic in my XXS faja which makes my butt look HUGE hahaha! I did not get any work done there but it's the most pronounced thing in this faja lol. My girlfriend who is staying with me can't keep her hands of my backside in this thing!

hi there, from which country to did you come from to go Dom.Republic??
U.S.

Did he use Traditional Lipo? I'm wondering if he uses vaser Lipo with traditional to firm up the skin a bit?!? I'm worried about loose skin when he does my thighs. After asking around to different Dr's in the DR, most use vaser as well.
I had my own room with my girlfriend so we kept our belongings in the room which was pretty secure. There are also lockers available to secure your belongings.
Honestly I only saw one other lady who had done multiple procedures done and it wasn't by Mallol. I think he will be very honest with you if its not realistic
