I have not had my surgery yet but I am thinking of dr. FG.. but so far his assistant has been very helpful. It's toke at least three days for him to get back with me ..but it's very much understanding because he's a doctor and he has other patients to work on .Hey when he had time and expect to me what I needed to do I knew that he's my doctor.

Hey Christy! He is fantastic. I just had surgery with him on 7/6 and I felt very safe. You're exactly correct he prioritizes his patients that are currently in recovery. He is accessible and attentive. I have a family to get home to and needed a doctor with good results and focused on my safety!

He really is great. You'll feel at ease and safety is extremely important to him. As the previous person mentioned his patients physically there are his top priority but don't think he gives those he has worked on sub par service. He checked on me last week and I'm going to be 6 weeks post op Tuesday. You'll really be in great hands with him.

Thank you! I'm still not out of the clear just yet though. I like my results but not getting attached to them until 3 months post op. Can't wait to be healed better and able to workout, 6 pack abs here I come lol. Best wishes and positive vibes for when your time comes.

I stayed at Harmony Deluxe Recovery House and what you take will depend on where you stay. Some places have most of what you need already there. Others you will need to bring most of your own supplies. Once you pick your recovery house it will make getting supplies easier. I will definitely say take some maxi dresses, granny panties and regular clothes for the plane ride home.

Yay almost there. Mine is 8/9 and I can't wait. Already got my lab results and my hemoglobin is 13.3. So I'm more than ready for surgery.

Congratulations I'm cheering for you..yes go ahead girl I am still waiting on my lab result it's almost a week and I am still waiting I called my doctor today she said she still Waiting on 2 more tests to come back so I am keeping my fingers crossed..

I am so heartbroken today I got a phone call from my doctor and just for her to tell me that my hemoglobin level was 10.8 and she also said that my cholesterol is high what the hell is going on .I have never ever in my entire life had cholesterol problems OMG so does that mean I can have my surgery I am in a place right now where I feel like I'm just going to cry my ass out so any suggestions I'm open to ideas ladies and gentlemen.

Did you ever get a consultation or quote from Goico?
I would try and get hemo up and check again in a couple weeks. You may need to push surgery back a week or two to get it up. Is your plane ticket refundable?

Yes I did, I had my consultation already and my date is 8/30.. and my ticket no I haven't bought a ticket because I was just waiting to see what my test results first.

You have enough time to fix it. Ask your doctor for suggestions on lowering your cholesterol and increase your hemo. Reach out to Dr. Goico he can also give you suggestions on what to do next.

Make yourself a gallon of beet/carrot juice plus take iron and folic acid. Did that for three weeks and my hemo is at 13.3

Ok thank you so much for your help I am going to try that today because this is serious .. the only thing is my stomach can't handle the iron pills I have taking iron pills before and it makes me sick all day long so I'm going to try the other things. I really appreciate your help thank you will keep you posted
