Ok guys this is my update on my surgery.
$4,800
So I got to dr on Monday the 8 , went to get my test done on the 9. Since I had a bit of asthma as a teen they checked my breathing and it wasn't all that great so they medicated a asthma pump to me and I had to use it once a day and after the surgery twice a day. The 10 was my surgery day which was the same day I saw the doctor and payed and let me tell you how anxious and scared I was . First of all the light leaves in the Dominican Republic it's ok because they have a something to keep the electricity going I'm not sure what is called in English so that had me scared and I asked the nurse if the surgery room had the same electricity as the regular room and she assured me that everything was going to be ok and that it was different . Sure enough they put an IV on me and later gave me a blue pill according to them it was to relax me. I fell asleep and woke up in the operating room , they didn't do general anesthesia on me so I was awake most of the time. I felt the anesthesia being put and let me tell you that hurt , they started doing lipo on my back to put on my butt & let me tell you I felt the whole thing on my back boy that hurt like crazy , I was crying so you can imagine. After that everything went smoothly. I felt them putting something in butt but didn't hurt at all and I didn't feel my tummy tuck either so it wasn't all that bad I guess . I felt disappointed because she told me since I have a bit of asthma she won't be able to tighten me as much as she wanted .but I think she did a pretty good job. I'll will update my whole body after my swelling goes down

Ok the date is getting closer and closer
I'm so anxious my date is about a week away and I'm really scared . I'm afraid something goes wrong I have two toddlers and I don't want to leave them without a mom this is the scared and worried me talking . I'm hoping everything goes safe . Ok so I guess everything happens for a reason, listen to this. I went in to my regular obgyn app and I asked the doctor if he thought it was ok for me to get the IUD before my tummy tuck he said he didn't see how that could be a problem, so I called and made the app for the IUD I went in and they couldn't do it because I've had unprotected sex after my period even though I wasn't pregnant it was their policy, I was really pissed because I felt I had wasted my time, fast forward 4 days latter I call in durans office to make sure my date was still set & I asked if it was ok if I got on birth control before the surgery , they told me all contraceptives had to be stopped one month before surgery. I was surprised and so happy they couldn't put the IUD in me . You would of imagined the nightmare it would be .

I have an IUD, Mirena. You can get it before surgery but yeah doctors and the manufacturer have very strict rules because of all the bad press and history of complications. I have one birth but csection not vaginal, my first IUD started to push out by itself and I hemoraged badly, the second one had no issues and I've had it in for almost two years now. I had to get the IUD to stop heavy periods while I got my hemo up, went from 8 to now 13 for my hemo, so based on that I think it would be great to get it done before you go to dr to help to reduce your blood loss from your cycle after surgery. Still though you will bleed a bit when you put it in so be prepared for that . Some people also bleed very heavily for 6 months or so after getting it but it depends on the type of IUD so ask you obgyn. Good luck!
Yea I don't know lol. I'll just do as the doctor asks and and just get it done afterwards
Yeah, you might thank yourself for it lol
