Have you been working out to maintain your figure?

I do work out. I notice that when I walk on the treadmill at an incline of 10+ at level 3 for atleast 30 to 40 minutes my butt looks super round after. I also wear a waist trainer while o work out. I have mostly been doing the elliptical the last couple of months because I gained some weight and my butt got huge and I felt self conscious so I lost a little mass, which I was ok with. But if you want to gain mass do the incline trick on the treadmill and squats.

A year and a half post op

Well it has been a year half since my surgery. Almost 2 years since I started this journey. I still love my results. My weight has fluctuated, but most of my gain has been to my but (which got so big last fall it felt abnormal and uncomfortable) which is weird because it was my own fat that I gained, and my upper back. My waist has been maintaining. I have been loosing weight again with consistent work outs and a proper diet these past few month. I am planning on getting a breast lift in May but I have decided I am going to stay in the states, close to my home. I don't regret my decision to go to the D.R. but I wish I had stayed longer for better follow up care. My scar of my TT has some keloided spots in the middle where my old belly button connected to the lower abdomen and it has some tender spots still. I am considering getting a revision for the scar one day, but I am still extremely happy with everything.

Looking back some things I did wrong was not bringing compression socks for the swelling and I should have gotten a first class seat for the ride home. I should have stayed atleast 15+ days post op and not just 8 total. I should not have switched from the gauze so quick. I should have bought a second faja from the Dr. I should have tried to loose more weight and tone up more before I jumped into the surgery, but I was so eager to have it done! I probably would have stayed at a different hotel, the one with the casino was for my husbands benefit and he left half way through recovery and I had to endure loud partys and music every night. I was so scared to shower down there and get infected, so I only baby wiped my body and washed my hair but I should have done atleast one bottle water shower before the plane ride back (I'm sure I was stinky lol even though I tried to keep clean) I wouldn't have packed so much crap. The boppy pillow, granny panties, lots of pads (for the rubbing of the faja) and undershirts and comfy loose linen pants and shorts/Capris and maybe a dress and sandals was all I really needed. And the baby wipes, bathroom items, pain meds (vicodin and ibuprofen), laxatiives or stool softener, supply of vitamins for how long I would be there, purse, ipad, phone and money.
And I wish I had some way of concealing that drain, maybe a shawl or longer breezy sweater and medical tape? It was embarrassing walking around with that thing.

I am trying to loose 10-20 more pounds before my breast lift. I am 179 right now
and have been working out 3-4 times a week burning 400-500 calories per session and lifting lighter weights.

I have my consult for my breast augmentation/lift with implants on April 1st with Dr. Restifo. I am really excited about that, I have wanted new boobs for over 10 years.

Great job on your weight loss! Have you seen you're butt get smaller after weight loss? Has your waist gotten any smaller? I am asking because I want to lose 20 lbs after surgery too. Should I begin a year after or 6 months after? Your butt looks so nice and big still

I gained about 15 lbs. back mostly in my butt so now that I am loosing weight that is what is going down and I am ok with it because my butt was getting abnormally large. Im guessing because the fat transfer shifted alot of my fat cells there. I tried to work out at 6 month after but my butt would go numb and it was extremely uncomfortable. I think if you do squats with cardio you won't loose your butt, but it just depends on your comfort level.
