Thank you Dr. Almonte! All I can say is that she SLAYED IN THE O.R.!! Her and her staff are very professional and nice. She gave me the body that I wanted. Her assistant Lesley is really good at responding to your email in a timely manner. No matter how many times you call (and I called alot!) She is always really nice and answers all your questions no matter what they may be.

Getting Close and Nervous
Hello dolls! 11 days out before I leave for the DEA I'm getting
really nervous I had my hemoglobin checked on the 6th of June and I'm at
11.3 which really has me nervous because in order to have a complete
work but I'm scheduled to have done my hemo level has to be at 13 or
better. Praying that is gone up. I've been taking at least six iron
pills per day, liquid iron, vitamin C, multivitamins, and B12. I don't
know what more I can do. is there anyone out there who can tell me if I
can increase my hemoglobin in 11 days to get it where it needs to be so
I can get what I want done? this is so frustrating????????!! HELP!! I
dont want to travel all the way from Cali to be disappointed....

In addition to the supplements, try eating foods high in Iron, beef liver, which has 6.5 grams of iron38% of your daily recommended intake per serving . Pork liver -1/2 cup or 3-1/2 once has 18 my (100% of daily recommended intake) Green leafy Vegetables are also a great source as it contains a type of iron better absorbed by the body, collard greens,spinach, kale are excellent sources. Soybeans- 1 cup provides 9.3 my of iron (52% of daily recommended intake). You can get roasted them roasted with salt, great snack. Another great source, although pricey are clams (1/2 cup or 4 Oz provide 28mg of iron (155% of drv), frozen or can may be less costly. A combination of these foods along with your vitamins and the iron your taking should help

Hey Adina! I try posting on your page when you left the comment about you leaving but it said there was difficulty leaving it so it deleted it but just to let you know I am feeling a lot better but the vomiting didn't stop when I left the hospital and continue on here for tonight and for one night I was literally vomiting blood not little specks of blood pull out blood clots. I talked to dr. El Monte yesterday about what was going on and I asked her is that normal she said no I said well I spoke with the girls at the recovery house and they said it was normal she said no it's not because I was at the point where I really thought I was going to die and I said to myself I'm going to die in a foreign country trying to get an ass! Good night I was feeling a little better I was able to hold down food and water so recovery is going well I don't get to start massaging until Monday after they take the drainage out but all is well so far we're moving to the Villas apparently they're going to have a reality show taping here at armonia so I wish them luck because I am not trying to be a reality star talk to you soon. And 4 other dogs who plan on coming to the Dr for surgery just know a few things you're going to have to pay $42 for five(5) shots that you'll need to help with blood clotting. the pharmacy will deliver medications to you but he only takes pesos. make sure you lock all your belongings with the key and as you enter the country you're going to be stopped by someone in u.s. customs so you can pay your money for your tourist card which is $10 and they do not take debit cards. also know it's going to cost you the $30 to exit the country! That's all I can think of now at this point if there's any more I'll post it GOOD LUCK DOLLS!!

I'm so glad you are feeling better. Vomiting blood sounds terrifying. I hope they are taking care of you. It sounds like there is such a contradiction between the the RH staff says and the doctors say. It can be confusing. The good thing is being in the house with the other girls. So a reality show at Armonia House? That's crazy. I would leave too! I don't need my business blasted all over the earth. Keep in touch.

Good, because Myra is not all smiles and giggles that she portrays. To begin with she lied to me and another girl who was staying there saying that she's getting ready to tape a reality show and wanted us to go out to guavaberry resort to have a barbecue and spend the night there when she drove us two hours out of the way to the resort then began to tell us that we're going to stay there until we get ready to leave we told her that next day we were ready to go we didn't want to be there we were happy and she says sorry all booked the rooms have been booked from July 9th to July 26th and they don't have any room for us so basically she put us out send us to a Villain 2 hours away where I honestly believe Michael Myers and Jason were our neighbors. So when I call Leslie dr. Almonte's coordinator and told her what happened she instantly got on the phone to call Myra to find out what was going on and all of a sudden oh I have room the rooms have been booked it's okay if she wants to come back or I have an apartment that she can stay in if she'll feel more comfortable I told Leslie know I rather just pay her for the 3 days that I was there and get a hotel which is what I did and saved the hell a lot more money if I were you I would not stay at armonia because Myra is not the person who she claims to be the nurses are nice but as you know when they ask you if you want breakfast you tell him yeah I want some pancakes and eggs you get one pancake two eggs and I swear to you the sausage looks like hot dogs so my suggestion is nobody goes to stay at armonia because it seems to me that the only person that she sent away to stay at the Villa and guavaberry or the black girls and that's my honest opinion

I'm staying a DR Care recovery house. It's awesome. Nice and clean. All the beds are hospital beds. The staff are either Doctors or medical students. Most are English speaking but not all. And the cook makes me want to smuggle her home! I'm so scared she is going to put weight on me with this good food.

I'm at DR recovery. Clean, beautiful and staffed with doctors or medical students 24/7. Has hospital beds and all new. I love it!

Hi hun i noticed u said u was vomiting BLOOD why what caused that is sounds really scary snd dangerous.did she tell u why or what that came from this the first i heard of this.

Because I had the gastric sleeve, my stomach is very small. I was SUPPOSED to take prilosec to protect my stomach before I took any meds. I wasn't! I was taking antibiotics, pain meds, regular meds, and vitamins all without protecting my stomach, which caused gastritis which in turn caused me to vomit blood. Once I told Almonte assistant she immediately gave me meds to take before I ate breakfast or take any meds. Once I started taking them I was fine. It had nothing to do with the surgery. I just needed to coat my stomach first.
