After much research and referrals, I've booked my surgery with Dr. Mallol. I was referred by someone in the states that does her surgeries with him and her career is post surgical massages. Dr.Mallol is very responsive and has been very understanding of all of my questions... He has been easy to reach via WhatsApp or email. His office staff has also been quite helpful.

Just purchased my Diamond Recovery box! Everything you need!

Microblading DONE... Loving it!

So I'm trying to get myself together... Lose some weight before surgery, keep healthy, and do some much needed maintenance... I finally decided to have my microblading done on my eyebrows... I naturally have very thin sparse eyebrows... After the first session I was thrilled... I will head back to the eyebrow queen in 4 weeks just for a touch up! I will not lie, it hurt like heck, it's like a comb of blades scraping your eyebrow area and after a few days it scabs a bit, but the results were worth every minute of anguish... I paid $400 and would so recommend it! I used the eyebrow queen in Belleville, NJ... Her name is Samantha... ????

Let the countdown BEGIN!

So I'm a month away from my surgery and I'm so excited, I am nervous but looking forward to what my future body will look like!

One week away! Dr.Mallol here I come!!!

Wanted to post some good before pics so you see what Dr.Mallol has on his hands....

Post sugery

Although I am in pain I've gotten great attention from the doctors, nurses and my roommates at the recovery house... Surgery took twice as long due to breast issues, so I'm hoping they look good... Still wrapped! So I will give you a warning, if you have asthma you will need to see a pulmologist. Which was an extra cost of $150, not too bad until I realized what it meant during surgery... I was awake the entire surgery, they use a sheet to cover the scene and you are highly sedated but I heard everything. I was in and out the entire time... They put me in recovery and was good to go... Then the swelling, they needed to give me meds for that and needless to say it hurt... Woke up the this morning and could barley eat the soup... Then the blood test for my hemoglobin came back under 7, so I needed a blood transfusion which cost $250 but well worth it, felt a million times better after... Now I'm at Rocio, ate and relaxing in the bed... The best part is the adjustable beds, makes getting up and down easier... Finally went pee by myself but I stink and you can not shower... But I feel ok and will continue to update you all... Xo

Washing my FAJA

So because I'm draining so much fluid they needed to was my faja...and bra! So I snuck a few pics, keep in mind I am still extremely swollen, and the bruising is crazy...

Just a few more pics!

Wanted to add a few more pics to the page... I am in love with my new ass! And my boobs are amazing, from the bit I can see... Hips look great, can't wait for the swelling to go down, and the drainage is NASTY! Oh and the massages, does the word pain ring a bell!!! They HURT!

Infection caused delay in going home!

An infection took over my body a few days ago... It has caused fever, the sutures to open and mental, physical and emotional pain! The doctor was extremely responsive to the situation, as soon as the recovery house contacted him that I had a fever he made it a priority to see me that night, Saturday May 28th, 2016... He has seen me every day since... I've been put on daily IV antibiotics, he took a culture to identify the exact culprit and my condition has improved drastically... Some of the images are not pleasant but it gives you an idea of the risk you may be taking by having any form of plastic surgery. I have now been on heavy IV antibiotics for 3 days and it will continue.. I am scheduled for a short surgery tomorrow to restitch areas where the sutures opened to release the fluids. My bodies way of fighting the bacteria... Keep me in your thoughts and prayers PLEASE!

It's been a while!

Firstly thank you all so much for your prayers and kind words.... I am doing MUCH better now and would like to thank Dr.Mallol, his assistant Felix and everyone at the Rocio recovery house! My experience was not pleasant, but I don't think the doctor or recovery house are to blame... After 3 cultures, there is no bacteria found! The test for microorganism takes 2 months so I'm on heavy antibiotics for6 months, or until they rule that out!!! Many of the doctors here at the recovery house believed it was a reaction to the sutures... Either way, without the doctor and amazing recovery house, this could have ended very badly... Dr. Mallol saw me every single day after my wounds showed signs of infection... I was sent into a second surgery, with no charge to change my sutures... I'm on the best antibiotics, 3 times daily through IV at no cost to me (over $100 a dose) the doctor worked with the recovery house so I wasn't charged additional... The knowledgeable staff at the recovery house changed my bandages constantly, took my vitals every few hours and prayed with me before surgery... Sent a doctor to stay with me the night of surgery, and even had the most beautiful flowers bedside when I got back... I've been poked, proded and literally drained all in the name of vanity... I can't say if I regret this surgery, I do regret not being home for my kids... I was scheduled here for 11 days, and go home tomorrow on day 18... Thankful I'm getting to go home at all.. It is and was scary, I won't lie, but I was in the best hands!!!

I can barely look!

So I can barely look because I get woozy thinking about where I was a week ago but here is a pic from just now as they change my bandages...

3 surgeries later!

So upon returning to the USA, within a few days my sutures started to open again... Evidently my body rejected the sutures for both surgeries in DR...

Once I got home, I quickly found a doctor who added me to his schedule and had a third surgery June 10th...

All of the sutures were removed, the dead skin removed and now I have a nurse to change my bandages twice daily... It is a saline soaked gauze that gets imbedded into the open cavities of my boobs and stomach. It is quite painful so I do take a painkiller just before the bandage removal/replacement...

The photos I am sharing are quite graphic, but day by day I will get better...

Improvement - dehiscence is closing

Warning, the image is graphic... Again thank you everyone for your kind words... And please continue to visit YouTube for videos with full review... (https://youtu.be/jjA9IDr816g) My wounds are healing, they are closing from the inside out, the nurse and doctor are thrilled with my improvement... I have no infection and I am moving to VAC closure Friday... Please note, the doctor I used in DR for my 1st two surgeries was Dr. Emanuel Mallol, he was a great doctor, the issues I encountered were due to my rejection of the sutures, my body caused the reaction... Not anything the doctor did... I honestly think he is the reason I am alive... He was extremely reactive once I showed signs of suture rejection and dehiscence. My doctor in the USA is Dr. Troy Callahan, he is an amazing doctor who performed a third surgery to remove the sutures and clean the wounds... I am now 9 days post op since the last surgery and my healing progress is going very well... I will share a couple of photos, and as mentioned YouTube has full reviews...

4th and hopefully FINAL surgery scheduled for June 29th 2016

Had my doctors visit this past Friday and he was so pleased with my progress he elected to forgo the VAC closure and scheduled me for a 4th surgery to close me up... He will use a different material than my surgeon in DR used and is confident that my body is healed enough to handle sutures... I'm very disappointed that I will once again lose more breast tissue, I'm going to be left with almost no breasts... Going from DD to an A cup is a tough thing to swallow but I'm happy to be alive... I will include some pics of my wound healing progress... Please pray for me and a successful surgery...

4th Surgery went well... But the pain

I've now had 4 surgeries since May 20th and this by FAR has been the most pain I've had!

I can barely get up to use the rest room, so no pics... Sorry...

Called the dr and he prescribed something stronger... So hopefully once my nurse picks it up the pain will subside a bit...

I have 2 drains and I'm all stitched up... I'm pleased that he was able to close me...

So pray that this pain is short lived... Xo

Slowly BUT surely!

It's been just over a week since my 4th surgery... Things are moving along nicely... I will say I never felt such pain in my life! Day after surgery was unbearablE, LITERALLY! After Hydromorphone I was able to manage my pain...

Lost more breast tissue, and although it bothers me, I can't let it consume me. I'm grateful to be alive. Stopped the narcotics and started driving and doing some normal day to day activities. I left surgery with 2 drains, I still have 1, but hoping by Monday they remove this one as well.

Still can't work, hoping to go back by the 25th, fingers crossed.

I have added several photos, keep in mind the surgery has caused swelling, so within time that will subside...

A quick update

So I know it has been a while... I've finally gone back to work, so things are pretty hectic...

But about 3 weeks ago I received the results of the culture, it takes several weeks for them to fully develop.. It turns out that although the results from DR and the USA initially said I was negative for an infection, the latest results show bacteria/fungus is what caused the infection.. This specific fungus is found in the water in DR... So I most likely did this to myself somehow ????... But I'm just thanking god I'm alive and doing well...

I will add a few pics...
