a week away-medications

besides thinning blood there are of course other benefits to starting those 3 medications now...but is it worth the risk of loosing to much blood?

a week away-medications to take pre-op

I'm a week away from leaving. I'm getting quite excited and nervous. I was planning on starting to take Bromelain and Arnica today but I did some research and read a lot about how they both thin the blood. I read it's only minimal, but I'm hoping not to need a blood transfusion after surgery. But on the plus side of taking them a week before surgery would be that they would help prevent clots since they thin the blood...and I'm really scared of embolisms etc. Also read probiotics can thin the blood a little. So I'm not sure if I should start these now to prevent clots or to not take them to prevent too much blood loss? hmmmmm any advice?
