Provider Review
Being from NY, my initial impression with Dr. Jose Alonso was that he was very professional, he provided me a quote for the services that I need and all looked good. How can I judge his quality of work? I had the work performed in the time frame that I had in the D.R. and I had a great smile as the outcome at a reasonable price. Like others commented, he works from home and doesn't have x-ray capability nor Novocain. I over looked it because of the affordable services provided, beside, I don't take Novocain which he responded "That's good, I don't have it" Now I went to a NY Dentist and had x-rays taken, I had 5 crowns under his workmanship and there was excessive cement applied, so much so, all the crowns were glued together in a daisy chain. How can someone not remove the excessive cement while it has not cured? I have x-rays to prove it. I am a professional, how can someone do that! Now I have cavities from trapped food below my jaw bone, I need implants, extractions, bone scrapping and a lot of rework. $20,000 USD to fix his work. This is total negligence. He knew that I am from NY and took advantage of me knowing that I was not local. Yes cosmetically I left his office with a time bomb going off in my mouth! Stay away from him. I do see a lot of positive comments for him, did he write it himself or did his patients respond too soon. I waited for x-rays to see his quality of work. Robert Krause
