Hi asianboobs, just wondering how you were recovering and if your boobs have started to even out. My right is sitting high and I'm trying not to freak out or think about capsular contracture. Does your PS have you doing anything to prevent the dreaded CC?
You are looking great!!!

7 weeks post op, finally feeling better!

Up until a few days ago I was still in mild discomfort. I was still sensitive on the lower part of both breasts and I thought something was wrong! But now I'm feeling awesome and loving my new boobs. The only thing is my left boob still a tad high, hopefully it'll be even with the right boob soon. I'm massaging the left aggressively. I've gone to Kohls to go bra shopping but was overwhelmed. I found one that was very comfy. I'll try to go to Victorias Secret soon and get measured.

They look great! It's good to hear that I could still be in discomfort for another 4-5 weeks. Thanks for the heads up.
Thanks! Yes, I guess everybody heals differently.
You look fabulous!!! I don't know what u looked like prepopertively but the girls look great!
Thanks! I posted a pre op pic.
You must be thrilled with the outcome!
I am! Had deflated sacs for a real long time! I was getting tired of seeing them! I'm dying to try on new bathing suits!
Looks really good!
Thanks, appreciate it!
Hey there, congrats! Your new girls look great! I'm exatly 8 weeks post op and my left is still a bit higher too. I'm not worried about it because I've seen it drop just over the last two weeks even ... I've bren massaging aggressively. Keep doung the massages. My PS said in about 4 more weeks, I'll see the difference. Keep us posted!
I am 5 weeks out and still a bit uncomfortable. I can't seem to find a bra that feels right. Which bra did you like at Kohls?
Omg my biggest problem is finding a bra. I am six weeks out and still looking you look great
I'm only 5 weeks too and sticking to "sports" bras or going braless. My PS said nothing supportive for a few months. And if you look at other reviews, you'll see that there's a lot of settling and dropping and filling out the first few months. I bought one nice bra (wireless, unpadded) as a "just in case" but I refuse to spend any more money until The Sisters settle down. Haha! ;-)
Exactly my boobs den to get tried at the end if the day. Sports bra is all I like and I bought a genie bra I love it is ugly but really soft.
I have a Genie too! It's the zip front kind and it's a pain to zip so I've been wearing my super cheap-o $5 Walmart sports bras. Haha! :-)
I have a Geni and found it more comfortable without the pads. I was worried it didn't have enough support. Do you still feel tight at certain times of the day??Thanks ladies!!
I took the padding out of all my bras. Made everything too tight and I couldn't breathe. I actually go braless whenever possible -- I don't want the support; I want to drop! :-) And yes, I actually felt tight the other night. I was pretty active during the day so I tried to massage aggressively at night.
Lol... It's funny how all these docs have different rules to follow pre op! Mine said not to go braless. I think mine have started to drop more, but I still feel tightness in the middle. My friend had them done years ago and said it seemed like forever till hers didn't feel tight. How often are you massaging?
My PS told me to wear a bra as soon as I feel comfortable. Everybody is different and the healing process is different for all. I wore the zip front sports bra for a while - that was very comfortable but I went braless most of the time. At 6 weeks post op, I purchased two bras at VS. One of them has worked really great - it's the padded wire plunge bra. The other I purchased was a wireless one but funny enough, the padded wire has been very soft and very comfortable. It has a little padding but it's quite awesome. I only wear them when needed though. If I can get away with not wearing a bra, I do so because I'm still dropping and at 8 weeks post op. My gf who did this procedure the same day I did says she's sticking with the sports bra and found some really good ones at Walmart. Go with what feels good!

I've been wanting bigger boobs for a long time and...

I've been wanting bigger boobs for a long time and I finally did it! I thought I was too old but my ps said a lot of women my age do it and plus I don't look my age, lol! I breastfed 2 kids and my boobs were deflated and saggy! I wished I would have done it sooner! I wanted a natural look, I was 32B and I was undecided between 350cc and 400. I did go with 350cc, under the muscle, high profile Mentor silicone

I am 49 and am having BA on Dec 4th! I too am going with 350 hp Mentor. You look great! Are you happy with your size? I am wondering if I should go with 325? What were your stats to start (if you don't mind my asking) I am a bit of a wreck about it!
Hi charry rose! Good luck! Yes, I'm very happy with my size but sometimes I think I should have gone bigger lol! It's true about boob greed! I'm 5' 4" 120 lbs, started with 32B. I know exactly how you feel! I actually almost cancelled. I keep thinking why now? But if I don't do it now I'll never do it! You'll be fine, just do it!
No turning back now....I am all in! Do people notice you had an "enhancement?" I am a teacher and only a few close friends at work know I'm having it done. I'm super excited, but I worry about everything! Will I be too small?/ Will I be too big?? Will they sag a lot when I get older?? UGH!! I just want it to be over already...lol
No, I've actually been hiding it! Wearing big sweaters and shirts lol! Only a few close friends(they had ba done too) know and my sister(she had it done 10 yrs ago). I'm the same way, worrying about everything. Don't worry, you'll be fine. Just follow instructions from your ps. Good luck :)
Good for you! It's never too late to get boobs. You look awesome! How are you feeling 1 month out?
Hi 4 Babies now Boobless. Thanks, I appreciate it! I still have sensitivity on both my lower breasts but it's getting better. I was worried, I thought something was wrong. Saw my ps last week and he said it's the muscles stretching.
Your boobs look great! Thanks for posting some pics :)
Thanks!
You look great!!!
Thanks!
Wow just wanted to tell you how great you look and thank you for your comment it helped me calm my nerves. I just worry about the size, i do have a wider chest area than you i think, my shoulders and chest always give me trouble when zipping up dresses etc...I dont feel fat but i am not a petite woman either so the doctor told me i could go up to a 600cc but i went in for 450 so i thought but after trying on sizers...well 500 looked great, then they told me if i want the 500 look than get 550 and it will look like 500 after it settles....So I am booked for 550cc cohesive gel round smooth, and through the armpit....i am doing it total different than i set out for....but i have a great doctor and i trust him. I need to keep thinking positive or I will loose my nerve. Christmas time will keep my mind off of the wait i think. And then i have 5-6 months to be ready for complete healing and settling of implant before the summer bathingsuit time...yahhhh thats the best part. How did the recovery go for you?
Hi Fillin Up the Cups, I'm feeling better. I've been worried cuz I'm still feeling sensitive in the lower part of both breasts but I noticed today that it has gotten better. I think it's my age, taking longer to recover lol. I do love my new boobs! Good luck with yours, I'm sure you'll be fine!
