Help! Wanting to do lipo with Dr Araya in Washington DC

Hello All,
Ive been researching doctors in the DC area for my lipo procedure. I was told by a coworkert about Dr. Araya. I went online and saw his work and it looked amazing, but of course i want to get as much information before going through the full process. Ive already put down a deposit for the 17th of this month. ANy advice or reviews on this doctor is greatly appreciated. HELP ME OUT RS FAMILY!!

Hello Im getting Lipo tomorrow 10th with this doctor my best friend is scheduled first and Im second. Im super nervous Im getting my abs flanks and arms done.

ok well i am now home the procedure honestly was a little rough but i made it thru..thank god for my husband..the numbing process was the worst but i still felt pain after the numbing..if i ever was to do this again i differently want tobe put to sleep.lol now im home and the draining has begun..ughh

Omg yayyyy congrats I'm glad it's over with... on a scale of 1-10 how bad would you say the pain was?? I'm doing my whole tummy and sides... also do you see a difference already or no?? How long was the total procedure??

I can't wear a compression garment or a girdle at this point, I am to swollen to fit them, and he said it'll cause more bruising.

Ohhh Mann sorry to hear that.. your 8 days post op now right??? And has the bruising gotten worse or better???

I just tried to have my first date night with hubby and i cant wait to get home and get in my bed.I tried but still very uncomfortable.

How many inches have you lost? Are you able to wear the compression garment? I still cannot and I am still in pain.

I had my procedure Monday morning... I'm still pretty swollen but thank god no burns... a few bruises... I bought 3 different fajas n I've been wearing the biggest one with the ab board underneath.. it's still tight.. the pain isn't too bad only when I wake up to walk to the rest room... hopefully I'll be good pain wise within another week.

That's good. I'm still nauseated and in pain and swollen anD I have two nasty wounds.

Omg really??? I'm sorry to hear.. have you been wearing a tank under your compression garment?? I was sooo scared of having burns and wounds that I've been wearing a Cami or tank under my compression garment everyday.. literally every day.. I went today for a visit they tried to drain me but nothing was coming so they give me water pills. I have to go back next Monday

I go for my second draining tomorrow. The first one went really well it releived alot of pressure and my stomach went down alot since then it just stung a little

My stomach feels harder... I went today and they thought I needed draining but nothing came out so they give me water pills for a couple of days and I'll go back on Monday to try again... I'm gonna go do a massage this Friday

Where are you going for a massage? Im scared a massage will hurt because im still pretty tender in some areas

I'm still swore too, I'm only 1 week post op but my two girlfriends who have had it done already said it's best to go in the beginning stages it helps your results and swelling (they didn't go to araya) I'll found 2 places close by with great reviews (blue heron massages and a calmness within massage) both rated top 10 on Yelp

I had lipo from dr. Araya on oct. 8th. The anesthesia process is painful but it's over and I've already lost 4 inches. My friend and I both got burns from tight compression garments we bought online because they restrict book flow. Make sure it's not to tight.

I am 5 days post op. Like many others I am also badly bruised. I am hoping I didn't make a bad decision by choosing him.
