How it works

- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

The photos speak for themselves
On the left is what Dr.Kwak told me my nose would look like after surgery. On the right is how it actually turned out after surgery.. the photos speak for themselves. Do yourself a favor and do your research. Be wary of who you’re trusting with your face !
Such a Disappointing Rhinoplasty
I’m writing this review to hopefully help prevent someone else from having a poor job done on their nose which ultimately will lead to a revision. I’m writing this as a person who has had that revision with a different doctor after originally having had a rhinoplasty with Dr. Kwak. This is your face. Go for the best. This is not it.
My nose wasn’t too bad to start with. I had a relatively small dorsal hump and a downward shaping profile rather than that upward curve that we all love and want. Dr.Kwak told me that this was a minor fix and all he needed to do was shave this hump down. I thought “wow! That’s it?” Even then I remember thinking “wouldn’t that not fit well with the rest of my nose if he just shaves the bone and does nothing else ?” But I was happy of the idea of it being such an easy solution that I went through with it. I was charged the amount of a FULL rhinoplasty. The amount you would pay for a whole breaking, restructuring, tip work, etc. just for having him shave this hump. This is problem number one. To say I feel scammed out of a lot of money for an inadequate job is an understatement. Although I questioned why I am paying this large amount for just some bone shaving, l thought it’s my face so I should pay whatever it is for it to be nice. Right ? Wrong. As soon as the swelling started to subside, the poor job done by Dr. Kwak started to reveal itself. The uneven shaving, the odd transition from my hump to the tip of my nose, a new hump that was not there before as well as bones in my frontal view that had not shown before. When I brought this to his attention he told me that “shaving the dorsal hump inevitably brings out these bones and there’s nothing to do about it.” So bottom line- I paid a great deal of money for a lousy job that I ended up having to get fixed.
If you’re reading this- I was lucky. He could’ve butchered my nose a lot more. Don’t put yourself in this risk with someone who is not skilled at what they’re doing or simply doesn’t care (or both). Choose the best! I hope I’m able to prevent at least one person from having an unhappy rhinoplasty and wasting a lot of money.
