I found Dr Rahban extremely trustworthy, expert, and warm throughout the whole process of my diastasis recti repair. Mine was very severe (looked 8 months pregnant; saggy, thin skin; messed up belly button; really bad scoliosis) and I had worried that I would not be able to successfully get it fixed. I had been told after delivering my baby that I would need mesh to fix such a big gap between my abs, and was so pleased to quickly find out that there are surgeons like Dr Rahban who have proved that wrong.

My results have been amazing (I'm at 13 weeks post op) and I feel like I not only have my life back, but also my children, as strange as that sounds. The process was much less painful than I anticipated, despite having to fly to LA from New Mexico multiple times and stay in LA for over 2 weeks for the surgery itself. All of Dr Rahban's staff were also amazing in every way. I can't say enough about Dr Rahban and the surgery itself. I feel like I have a new body.

There is almost no amount my husband and I would not have paid for this to be my reality - this felt like such a small price to pay and such a small slice of normal life to give up to get my mobility (etc!) back. So thankful to God and Dr Rahban and his staff for their life changing work.

(Planning to update with photos asap)

Doing great still!

It has been a year and a few months now since surgery (9/23/22), and I wanted to drop in and say that I’m doing really well. I am getting stronger as I work on getting my fitness level back to where it was pre-baby. Soreness recently decreased significantly, and that has been a bonus! My scar looks good and has continued to lighten in color (get less pinkish-brownish and more my natural skin tone). I recently pushed myself too hard trying to do a normal pushup instead of on my knees (haha) and have had to back off for a little while because it felt like I slightly injured myself. My fault!

Otherwise everything is great. My 1 yr post-op with Dr. Rahban was really encouraging. He again treated me with such authenticity, expertise, professionalism, and some very much appreciated tough love. Also, just had to add that his new office is stunning, and office staff were fantastic as always.

I start to forget how difficult and tiring it was to have my tummy hanging over onto me, not being able to dress/move/dry off from the shower/ETC(!!) normally and easily because it is simply back to normal now. I’m so grateful. I’m also adding photos – grey bra photos are obviously post-op, and t-shirt photos are me this morning.
