Deviated septum - Male Rhinoplasty
Ever since I was younger I had ongoing issues with my breathing. I’ve been to many specialists to try and fix this issue.
My issues were:
- heavy mouth breathing
- Snoring
- Running nose constantly
- No sense of smell
- Blocked nose
Specialists in the past told me I would need to have adenoidectomy which I did at age 7. This did nothing for me and was irrelevant. 8 years later, I went to see another specialist who told me it’s due to my tonsils being swollen. I then underwent tonsillectomy. I believed this would be finally fixed but it didn’t.
At age 17 I came across Dr. Shahidi’s Instagram which I followed instantly. Over the years I watched him transform his patients and I wanted to have a consultation with him. After a few years of postponing and doing my research I booked a consultation with him at age 21. I was welcomed into his office by his friendly staff which made me feel really comfortable.
When I spoke with Dr. Shahidi he wanted to hear what I wanted to achieve and what I wanted the end result to be. My main concern was my breathing but also the structure and shape of my nose being middle eastern was quite large and not in harmony with the rest of my face. Dr. Shahidi was very professional and informative about Rhinoplasty / Septoplasty surgery. I was so confident in him that I booked for my surgery on the exact day. After surgery Dr. Shahidi and his staff helped me through my journey and answered all my 101 questions. I now have full confidence and can breathe so much better. I don’t have a runny nose anymore and my voice also sounds less nasal. In terms of looks, my nose has reduced in size and is more symmetrical and in harmony with my face. I feel happier now in life that I don’t have to worry about my breathing being a problem anymore. It has been the best money I had ever spent, it didn’t come cheap but it was definitely worth it and I recommend him to all my friends and family!
