Done? Or not done

Hey everyone :) I know it’s been forever since my last update. I completed my treatment in the middle of November and held off updating because I’ve been stuck in limbo. My smile has obviously improved tremendously and my friends and family have noticed a difference. My only thing is there is a space in between my front teeth, that was previously there before and got refinements for, and I’m debating between just leaving it or calling and getting yet an additional four or so months added on. Let me know your thoughts. Everyone said it’s fine but again, I paid money for straight teeth...not spaced teeth. In the end, this is most likely what you’ll get when getting a cheap discounted rate. It won’t be perfect, but it’ll be better. No one called me when my treatment was done to check up on me, congratulate me, or have me order my retainers. It was just...done lol I’ve been using my last trays as retainers for now in order to save money since it’s christmas time but plan to call today and discuss this space, I guess. If I move forward with more refinements I’ll update again. Thank you for following! Once I get more time I’ll post a before and after :D

Tray 9 - 9/27/18

So currently I am on tray 9 of 12! I can't believe I am almost done! I have gotten so many compliments on my teeth and feel confident in my smile :) There have been no real significant changes since my last post as far as my teeth go. When I switched from tray 8 to tray 9, I did notice sensitivity to my teeth again for the first two days so my teeth are definitively still moving, however I have not noticed much visible change. My biggest trouble area were my two teeth next two my front teeth, which have always slanted in I will say, that I do not expect my teeth to look like the projected 3D model that Smile Direct puts together as your "future smile" but will be close so I'll take it. Maybe I am just being pessimistic or just realistic, I just notice more small gaps in between to my teeth then what is projected which I will take over what they were before (crammed and hard to floss). My bite has changed and I have yet to go to the dentist since I started this whole thing so I am curious on what they will think. I will keep you all informed and submit pictures on my next update. My expected end date is November 13th 2018. Yay!!

Refinements - Tray 5 - 07/25/18

Hi Everyone!! Sorry it has been so long seen I have updated you on my progress, summer has been extremely busy to say the least. I am happy to announce that everything is STILL going smoothly and I am getting compliments on smile all the time! I recently started dating again and was told I had the prettiest smile...I was like “...who me!?!” The gaps that were previously concerning have since closed since I was approved for refinements. After I recieved my new trays after I was approved for refinements I just started my new trays immediately (I did not end up calling and asking. I just assumed it would be pointless to finish out my old tray). The refinement trays fit my teeth great and I never have to adjust them. And as I thought would happen, the refinements did add an additional four months to my treatment (ugh) but it’s okay. I am so used to these trays now it’s nothing. So this weekend would have been my first end date, it is now extended to November 13th 2018. At this point in time, this was the best decision ever and I am so upset I waited until I was 31 to fix my teeth haha but better late then never right? Attached are some updated pictures.
